Stopped in on a long drive home, very disappointing! Ordered swordfish(quite bland) and a caprese wrap. The wrap had old chicken, no basil and could not be eaten as it was sopping with a tasteless oil. not the truffle balsamic as the description says. Awesome atmosphere but very very poor dining experience!

Had dinner here last night and It was good. I ordered the game hen and really enjoyed the root vegetables and asparagus it came with.

Breakfast = 5 stars! Well done, foods good! And great coffee! The chef working the Omelet Bar knows what he’s doing! The ambience is warm and inviting. The Brie dip App was great! The cedar plank salmon was good. The Mac n’Cheese Bake was nothing to write home about.(I found it to be a bit plain) The bar has one heck of a selection and options but be prepared to fork up some $$ Closing out the night we had a chocolate cinnamon roll bread pudding! With vanilla ice cream on top. I can’t say enough good about how great this dessert was! I would go back to eat and just go right to this dessert!

A crew of us went for a late dinner after a full day of skiing. We were delighted to have a diverse menu with seafood, steaks and vegetarian choices — plus local beers and original libations. I ordered the«camp burger» which has to be the best burgers I’ve ever had: a sweet and tart sauce, perfect bacon, pickle, fried onions and, of course, the burger itself, on a superior bun. So good, I am returning tomorrow for an encore. The rest of our party had equally delightful meal/s, including a generous new england seafood chowder, venison steak, lobster BLT sandwich, and… I forget what else. But I won’t quickly forget the ceasar salad that accompanied my burger and a few of the other dishes. Again having dined in a number of fine restaurants, none offered a better ceasar salad than the one at Camp. The lettuce was ice cold and crisp; cheese was rich and tangy — not the usual fare at all. The restaurant was mobbed and so the service lagged, but the wait staff were extraordinarily professional and attentive and our patience was richly rewarded.

We had the blueberry bbq wings and meatloaf. Drinks, atmosphere and food were awesome! Our bartender Tuesday was great as well!

The food here is very good. We all tried many of the dishes and everyone has been impressed. The flatbread is simply incredible! Atmosphere is really cozy and well done.

If it hadn’t been the final night of the New England Forest Rally and I had not been surrounded by racing drivers and good friends, I think my experience at Camp might have been much worse. When we visited they had a very, very limited menu which was in use just for the Rally. They must have assumed that all Rally fans eat crappy sports bar fare because that’s essentially what they were offering. There were a few more interesting things on the menu like a scampi but the pasta was completely undercooked and it tasted more like a thrown together stir fry than a well-thought pasta dish. The girls at the table all had the same avocado caprese salad which included exactly two slices of avocado and about 1 ounce of chicken. One of the guys at the table had the flatbread which turned out to be the most successful dish of the evening. Like the food, our server didn’t live up to expectations. The two positives: very large pours of wine and a cute, though almost overdone, cabin/camp theme. Camp is in the main hotel so there’s not much chance of avoiding it during a trip and I’m sure that once the season is in full swing, things get better…

I’ve eaten here twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. Overall, below average and grossly overpriced. The ambiance and décor are 4+ stars, with a nice rustic décor. The service is okay, mostly made up of ski bums hanging around for just the season. Generally enthusiast but lacking any real experience. The drinks are good if you don’t order their specials, which we found well made but just unpleasant tasting. For food, the breakfast buffet is good but over priced at nearly $ 20 per person. The two dinners we’ve had there have both been slightly over-average for flavor but well below average for value. Their $ 30 steak special with Brussels sprouts was about the size of a hockey puck and came with one Brussels sprout cut in half — literally. Very disappointing. I’m wavering between two and three stars — 2.5 would be perfect since I found the experience slightly below average every time. (…Rounding down since its 4:30am and, based on the last few hours of my life since eating there, I’m pretty sure I just got food poisoning from from Camp.)

I was pleasantly surprised by Camp. The food was pretty good and the service was excellent.(Our server was Erin.) My friend and I had the roast chicken and the meatloaf and they were both very good.

Beautiful space but even with sporadic customers coming and going and only about 6 tables with people sitting there, the staff was deep in the weeds, even making apologies that«things would take a while» when we sat down to order salads for lunch. Those salads took close to one hour to appear. Incredibly friendly servers and we’ll try it again, but clearly a Camp in need of a scout master. Without better management and leadership here, this place is doomed.

Sunday River put on its big boy pants when it opened camp. This is a great place for food, beer and cocktails at the foot of the Grand Summit hotel. Rustic décor, friendly & knowledgable staff, and fun patrons to chat with.
