St. Elizabeth Urgent Care

I am very disappointed in the care I received from this facility and in specific, Dr. Lamont-​Wasik. She seemed more focused on telling me it was wrong to live with my boyfriend than actually listening to me. She told me I had a cold. I had fever, body aches, cough, fatigue, lack of appetite, and dizziness. I had explained my boyfriend had pneumonia and his dr recommended I have a chest x-​ray if I begin to feel sick. I had to beg her to give me any type of antibiotic and what was given was not strong enough for pneumonia as I spent the next 2 weeks with a fever of 101 — 101.5 before finally seeing a real dr who sent me for a chest x-​ray. I have now been diagnosed with pneumonia and am finally able to start recovering. The antibiotics she gave me took the edge off of the fever, so I thought it would get better. The fever returned 8 – 9 days after my visit and continued until I was properly diagnosed. I will not be returning to this location in the future to avoid being mistreated and judged by Dr. Lamont-​Wasik.
