Outstanding service from the very beginning.
We organized a full premium set-​up of surfing rentals including boards and wet-​suits for my two nephews ahead of time via email with Greg.
We arrived at 5.30pm, a bit later than we wanted, to get all the gear — Cory and the crew there at Ocean Pulse helped us out incredibly well all with top-​quality gear for all of us.
Then they helped us mount the boards on our car. All this went to 6.30pm — when they close at 6pm.
We had two days of lessons with Johnny — who is just a fantastic person and a top notch Hawaiian born surfer — and all around great guy.
Ocean Pulse Surf Shop with Cory, and Johnny’s surf lessons made our weekend a great experience.
Super-​highly recommended for those who come prepared and with a great attitude.

Tom McNamara is the best shaper of custom surfboards on the Central Coast. Please consider supporting him and his craft before buying some soulless Chinese pop-​out. You might just become a better surfer if you order a board custom made to your height, weight, and ability level…

Nothing is worse then going into a sporting goods shop and the younger person behind the counter thinks they know all. Skate bushings are not the same. Who says that? The bushings in this store are the same ones you get at zumiez which are total garbage. They guy actually said «bushings are all the same». Next time get someone who actually knows skateboarding/​longboarding and teach them to smile and listen to customers so when they come in to town they have a reliable shop to come to. That guy left me know reason to return to ocean pulse.
