Came in yesterday to have my septum changed and had no problem in the store. Unfortunately, one of the balls fell off the ring no more than an hour after I left the store. I went back in today and told them my problem. The only piercer was, apparently, on break and the two at the front counter stood there and told me how easy it is to put the ball back on myself(as if I hadn’t already tried to put the ball from my old ring onto my new ring) and then proceeded to give me my own pair of gloves, a new ball, and told me I had to screw it on myself, outside of the store. Guy at the desk spent 15 minutes mansplaining to me while girl sympathized with me. I left the store with a missing ball on my ring, a pair of gloves, and extremely annoyed that I had to come all the way back to the hellscape that is Patrick Henry, didn’t get the one thing I needed, and still need to go back to have the ball put back on my ring.

Visited this piercing shop simply to just have my dermal tops unscrewed and changed as they had been on too tight. I was told it was a quick thing they could do free of charge. I still purchased a few extra dermal tops and then tipped as well. I was asked to wait 10 minutes. Other customers that entered the store were serviced before me as I waited. After 30 minutes I asked the receptionist and she told me there was still one person ahead of me. 10 minutes later, I was finally seen and the whole process took a matter of moments. The gentleman that pierced me was friendly and though needing to use forceps to remove one of my dermals,(that I was almost convinced had been welded closed) he succeeded in removing it and placing a new top on. I’d love to give this place more stars as their piercer seemed sufficiently skilled at his job and the jewelry is well priced, the service I received in the front of the shop was ill handled and I doubt I’ll return unless in the future appointments can be made so customers are tended to in a timely manner and interaction with the front staff can be minimized. *note: accommodating to those with a latex allergy
