We are so unfortunate to have Reliance for our current military transfer. From the beginning it has been a nightmare. Our household has always been a two day job.(Pack one day and pick up the next.) Reliance managed to turn that into a five day process. We were shorted packers who showed up late and left early. Management had to get involved early on and she was pretty rude to deal with. Definitely not a problem solver. During delivery by a third party(our stuff had to go into storage) we were told reliance over weighed our things by 3,000 pounds. As a military family we would have had to pay $ 1.00PERPOUND of overage. We requested a re-weigh and turns out we were under our allowed weight. Crooks! Next comes unpacking… We have mislabeled boxes. Some marked master bedroom clothing and kids toys are actually garage and shed items. One box had NOPACKINGPAPER and inside contents were couch pillows with a pair of barn boots and a computer mouse thrown in. Another was our daughters toys and a used damp-rid bucket full of water and toxic chemicals. The box and all contents are soaked. Not to mention the large furniture items that were destroyed or wood with huge chunks taken out. It’s to the point now where some things seem done purposely and maliciously. As military we don’t get a choice in companies. Please, if you do have the choice, consider spending your $$ elsewhere!

I wish I could give this company zero stars! My husband and I are a military fam and were scheduled to move with this company. I’ve had a horrrrrible experience so far. So much has happened but I’ll keep it as short as possible: 1. I asked the«walk-thru» rep who came to survey the weight of our items if I can expect my things in 1 week, she said nooo it’s should be less than that(same thing the actual movers told me) 2. A manager left us a vm saying that they were putting another couples things on the truck so they pushed the estimated day from to Friday possibly Sat. Ok cool whatever. 3. On FRIDAY we received another vm saying that the truck had broken down and now we should expect our things on Oct 2, a full 18 days after they picked it up. 4. I spoke to the company’s manager who had absolutely no customer service skills She was very argumentative(instead of sympathetic to our situation). She denied what her reps told us offering no apology, had a matter-of-fact«it is what it is» attitude, she even questioned me on whether I was actually my husband’s wife after I TOLD her who I am(I haven’t changed my last name yet) 5. The military reimburses them based on how many lbs our truck weighs and since ours didn’t weigh that much they tried to fill it up w other ppls stuff so they could get more money. 6. If you are a civilian, active duty. whoever you are do not trust this company with your move. You will have a huge headache dealing with them, your things won’t arrive promptly, you will be paying for all your meals out everyday or buying new items, you will be sleeping on the floor or air mattress if you can afford it and on top of that you will have to deal with rude MANAGEMENT.
