Good chinese take out place. We’ve only been for the lunch specials which have always been worthwhile and worth coming back. Favorite so far is the Lemon Peppered Chicken. The prices arent bad for what you get either. We’ve returned after our first visit and will continue to do so.

This place was recommended to me, and I am glad I went. I tried the philly chicken w/cheese and it was great. They packed sooo much meat on it, I shared half with my husband. And compared to other places, it was not too pricey.

I only came here because Thai Thai was closed. The place was packed on a Friday night at around 10. I quickly tried to decide what I wanted when I arrived as there was a group of folks behind me and there was no organized line. I ultimately stuck to one of my go-to’s for Chinese take-out, the Szechuan Chicken. While waiting I looked over the menu and was surprised to see American dishes– such as cheesesteak and hamburgers– and also Pancit. The Szechuan Chicken only came in one size and was around $ 10, which I found a bit high. The food itself really wasn’t anything above average for takeout, so I can’t say that I would be tempted to come back. I was, however, impressed with the speed of preparation and cleanliness of the kitchen. And the cashier, while«in the zone» with taking orders over the phone, taking orders in person and handing out orders, was quite friendly.

Located in the Stoney Run shopping center this place gets some business for sure. It’s been here a bit since these apartment complex opened back in the late 2000’s. I remember my mother would always rant and rave about their egg fu young so out of a nostalgic memory me and my roomie decided to give this place a shot. First of off I take my hat off to the folks working here. It’s freaking 80 something outside and I’m sure inside the restaurant was about 90 something. It was freakin hot as crap I had to leave while I waited for my food. Turn up the A/C people geez. And this place is tiny so be prepared to make some body heat happen. There are like two tables to dine in and and a handful of chairs to wait… they want you to get your crap and go. Which is cool maybe thats why they don’t run the A/C. Anyway, besides the temperature and cramped setting it is clean and you can see inside where your food is being cooked. I ordered a General Tso(Tao) Tofu and my roomie ordered the chicken version. The wait was actually pretty short, despite the lady literally staring at me uncomfortably for like 5 minutes straight while I decided on what to order. The tofu dish came with rice and lots of veggies. The sauce was a bit too sweet but still eatable. The tofus were crispy(there is a steamed option) and the veggies actually tasted pretty fresh. I dislike the fact that there was baby corn(worse veggie ever!). The white rice was white rice. Good thing I had soy sauce. My rookmies order came with pork fried rice which she tore up and seemed to enjoy although she said the chicken could have been crispier. Overall, I would give this place another shot but not in the near future. It has been quite a struggle to find a clean, friendy and above all else tasty Chinese takeout.

Oh the shame! Eddies2go has been getting progressively worse and today will probably be my last visit here. I had the Schezwan chicken lunch special. The chicken melted in my mouth but not in a good way. The sauce was flavorless but the vegetables I picked out were okay. The fried rice was so bad. Can anyone recommend a place to get good fried rice in Hampton Roads that is not yellow and that has egg, onion, carrots, green onion, and decent pork? I’m seriously thinking about freezing fried rice from The Joy Garden in Richmond and keeping it around for my Chinese cravings lol.

I went here just because everywhere else nearby was closed. I’m never going again! The food was expensive, flavorless, greasy and cold all at once. They simultaneously messed up my Moo Goo Gai Pan and his Philly Cheeseteak somehow. Considering that this place serves«Chinese and American» failing at both is amazing. At least we didn’t get food poisoning.

I’ll keep this review simple. One of the best damn Chinese take-out joints in the Denbigh area bar none! The only thing I’m quite fond of is the Egg Rolls, but when you can get the best damn Lumpia, who needs thick dry egg rolls. Their Lumpia is succulent, tender and full of flavor — highly recommended!

Amazing combination fried rice. Lots of shrimp and meat. Not too many vegetables. Great color. Fast service. If you’re looking for a dine in place, this is not it. It’s an order to go as the name suggests but still definitely worth it.

I must of hit an off day but can’t say a lot of good things. After a storm rolled through leaving us without power I decided to try this place once again. The food before was okay not this time. The cashier was new and unfamiliar with the menu. A man who seemed to be in charge was less than hospitable. When I ordered 2 spring rolls he opened the older model refrigerator taking 2 rolls out of a plastic container with at least 100 or more pre made rolls dropping them in the hot oil where many items were being fried. Not so bad right except the cashier said they had been without power for how long didn’t say — yuck. My other item won ton soup was okay. It was a little yellow in color more so than I am familiar with and the won tons were mainly dough little filling in each. All in all between the rather rude owner and poor quality food won’t be back.
