Gosh darn! I wish to goodness that this place had, more customers. I know everyone may not have had the experiences that I have had, but damn. Every time I went there I didn’t leave laughing or without a big olé smile on my face(well except for one if I were to be honest((different waiter)) When it comes to authenticate Japanese cuisine it’s not 100% but it doesn’t mean the food isn’t good and filling. The waiter I kept getting majority of the I went was awesome and had a great… no wait GREAT sense of humor and knew how to amuse his customers. The came out fast and it was delicious the ambiance is fantastic. I just wish more people went and had my experience. The location could be better, but hey, you work with what you are given right?

I was very disappointed I used to love this place but lately The servers act like they didn’t want to be there or have anything to do with The restaurant

The food is ok depends on what you order. The service is real bad. I went two different times and the waitresses were very rude not friendly at all. Me and wife after he second time decided this is not the place for us.

The best sushi on the Peninsula! The atmosphere in Blue Café is so welcoming and the décor is modern and tasteful. They’re never that crowded but I don’t understand why — everything on the menu is amazing and their bar is impressive. Their kitchen items are delicious. I highly recommend their hibachi style chicken. Everything is so good and the employees are very attentive.

Love their all-you-can-eat concept. I can only handle two rolls, but even then, it’s reasonably priced. Most places charge $ 11 – 13 for their specialty rolls. If I eat two rolls at Blue Sushi, that’s $ 10 a pop. It’s beautiful inside, definitely a date place. Dinner all you can eat is $ 19.95 after 3:30 pm, before 3:30 it’s $ 12.95. They have a limited menu at lunch.

I didn’t love this place but it wasn’t bad either… Their unlimited sushi is a good deal but I wasn’t really into their menus options. I would much rather spend my money at a different sushi restaurant.

Always amazing food. Have never been disappointed coming here. The bartender/server is always the same one and has a great memory of my usual order as well as amazing service. Would highly reccomend.

Ted the Bartender? He’s a hero of a different sort. As knowledgeable in the palette of alcohols as he is in the dietary functionality of shushi/sashimi he alone was our guide to the delights of the Blue Café. Whilst technically an apprentice bar tender his methodology alone separates him from the pack and while the(albeit) limited menu options limit him, do not discount his flavor profile parings for an otherwise unmatched experience.

So I used to love this place. friendly servers and bartenders who were very attentive and made it a great time. Now its just your typical Chinese place. The servers are all family and not attentive at all. They refilled my water with a pitcher of water that was sitting at a table with other customers. the portions are tiny even for all you can eat… when we would go to order more she would walk away before we ever finished ordering. The food quality is still good which I the only reason I gave it 2 stars. And the 2 waitresses drag their feet and it kills me.

It shouldn’t be billed as all you can eat, but all you can get, which is substantially less due to the poor service. It’s hard to review the food more than an hour into our stay given how little we have actually received. One and done for us here. Some Valentine’s dinner. Might have to pick up a pizza on the way home.

This place has some really great sushi, at great prices. Always use their buy two get one free specialty roll– coupon! The specialty rolls are fantastic. I get it to go, and it’s always perfect! Best around.

My first experience wasn’t that great, but my second was really awesome. Great food and service, and I’m happy I gave it another shot! 3rd visit, even better. The chefs here take pride in their food, the presentation is always beautiful! And everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. I even always get free ice cream for my twins when I visit. My go to foods are the jalapeño poppers, Phoenix roll and the power roll. The mango chicken is great too, as well as the hibachi style dishes. I must admit. Initially my biggest downfall to the place was the service. But that definitely seems to have been fixed. They’ve won me over and I’m a tough critic.

I loved them when they first opened up decent portions and great food but now they’ve gotten pricey and smaller. The all you can eat sushi is the only thing worth it if you eat enough to fill satisfied for what you paid anyway.

All you can eat sushi for dinner(lunch option available too) for less than $ 20! Stumbled on this place by accident but it was such a lucky find! The restaurant was spotless with a very modern feel. The waitress was quick to seat us and immediately got us started on appetizers & drinks. For the all you can eat option, you can order anything on the menu(red items are dinner only), however, you can only order one main dish at a time. I’m guessing this is to minimize waste & prevent overindulging– a constant struggle of mine when there’s no limit to how much you can order. Surprisingly, the service exceeded our expectations; we thought since it was all you can eat, the service would be slow in order to discourage people from ordering too much, however, that was obviously not the case. The waitress was constantly coming by our table and asking us what we wanted next, and all the food came within a very reasonable time. FYI, you don’t have to do the all you can eat dinner option… If you’re here for drinks, there’s a bar in the middle of the restaurant. If you want to watch a game, there are multiple monitors right above the bar. If you take a girl here on a date, well, the ambiance helps to set the mood. Needless to say, you have options!

Very good sushi and not too bad of a price for all you can eat. They have a lot of items and the service is «OK» and could use some improvement. This place is highly recommended.

Great selection of excellent sushi! The menu is extensive, and I find it hard to decide on what to try next! Good atmosphere, military friendly(discount), and quality that this area is not used to.

Awesome sushi, and best sushi in the area. I travel often for work and had searched for about a year until we found blue café. Our search is now over. Anytime we want sushi, we go to blue. They also have some of the best Thai food in the area, no joke. AWESOME lunch time specials and great value monthly specials. Talk to Chris the manager and he’ll suggest things based on what you’re looking for. It sounds simple, but you would be amazed at how often I would ask waiters at other sushi restaurants to suggest a roll and they say ‘I don’t eat fish’. Try it once, and you’ll be hooked.

Wow. Where do I begin. The food is hit or miss. My husband and I have come here about 5 times. Their shrimp tempura is amazing. But his pad Thai is disappointing. Ordered it spicy and there was barely any flavor and no spice. Our waitress had no idea what the dishes were. I asked if they serve kabocha, or pumpkin as a veggie with the tempura. She said no. My plate came and I had three pieces of it in my plate. She told me the bento shrimp tempura came with 8 pieces of shrimp, EIGHT! It’s only comes with 2! We ordered 3 rolls of sushi and she got it wrong. Then the correct one didn’t come out until after we were done eating. We will not be coming back here. Super disappointing.

Poor location but beautiful interior! Good food at a decent price. We weren’t disappointed! The girl serving us seemed miserable but, our food made up for that! We had the pad Thai, teriyaki chicken and started with the gyoza. Gyoza was amazing, and not oily at all like some. Pad Thai noodles were perfectly cooked with an interesting mushroom in it that gave it some sweetness. A little too much sauce on the teriyaki ruined the veggies but the chicken was great!

First I must say that walking into the restaurant was a surprise. I didn’t expect it to be as nice as it was. Very nice layout. Kind of like a lounge feel. My husband and I went for lunch and it was their 10th day in business. I only know that because we asked when they opened. The reason we asked that is because our server knew nothing about the items on the menu. She didn’t even know what type of soft drinks they had. Every question we had she would make up an answer and then say, wait hold on let me go ask. When she came back she said she still wasn’t sure because she asked the chef and they don’t understand English too well. All of the servers and English girls by the way. The uniforms are short shorts, and are a bit too short in my opinion for this type of restaurant. I felt like I was in Hooter’s for a moment! As far as the food, we tried a few different things since it was 25% off. Small entrée portions. It was good but nothing spectacular. In our sushi, the avocado was brown just like a previous review mentioned. Not too appetizing. Will we return? Meh, I’m not sure yet…
