You notice how Wendy W. has only a single review written on Unilocal & it’s a 1-star rating for this place? Grain of salt, people… I’m a fan of this little shop because the staff is friendly & non-heckling. There were two very young females there when I visited. They had sunglasses on sale which was nice because even designer shades tend to get broken or lost very easily in my household. They had some cute shell necklaces under $ 10. A postcard stand reminded me that I needed to send a «thinking of you» note to some folks, so I bought a few of those. I also got my mom, who is a soon-to-be first time blood-related grandma, a «#1 Grandma» keychain on a mini Cali license plate. I’m not big into knick knacks and t-shirts and sweatshirts, but this shop had quite a few. And if you decide to stick around the beach or the pier long and forgot a few things like sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, beach toys, swimsuits, tote bags, and so on, this is a good place to shop without losing your parking spot where you probably just dropped in a handful of quarters. There are a few homeless folks walking around nearby digging in the trash cans, but don’t be too alarmed because they usually don’t bother others. They’re just hungry! Review #144

Right next door to Jane’s is the Pier Shop — and they have the stuff you need, or forgot to bring from home, as well as souveniers of Newport Beach. I like looking at the sea shells. I have picked up sunscreen, pails and buckets, smash balls and t-shirts. There are lots of things to make the beach day complete — and the staff is friendly.

I had to get some«souvenir» shopping done for relatives who lived in NY haha. My uncle always asked to get him a shirt wherever I go and since he’s never been to CA, and newport beach, why not? They had tons of souvenirs on sale so I was able to rack up a bunch of gifts. This place has the perfect location because it’s probably the closest of the few souvenir shops along Newport Beach Pier.
