Honestly, for 30 dollars to get your eyebrows here is beyond a rip off. The women are nice but the last time I went there she made my eyebrows so thin and I was disappointed. Also, getting in here is so difficult. The direct number never works and they transfer you a million times before you finally get a voicemail. Nordstrom needs to make an app to make appointments easier!

Magaly did such a good job on my blow out! I have extensions and usually when I get a blow out it feels like they are pulling on them but she was so gentle! My hair looks awesome and have already gotten a ton of complements on it :)

Everytime I go here I feel so darn pretty. One time I got these knarly braids for an updo and the blow outs are really good. They specialize in blow out and the price is reasonable. The only thing I dont get is there is no robe or apron thingy so don’t wear your nicest outfit. Anyway I definitely recommend

Noni does an INCREDIBLE job at nails. I am so lucky to have found her. I also love that they carry and use superior products like London Butter and Deborah Lipmann. Just AWESOME!

Erica is amazing! I have tried many, many, many people and places in my quest to obtain the perfect brow shape. I finally found Erica a few months ago and she has magically given me the full but well manicured brow I have been wanting! She is extremely skilled and takes pride in her work. I won’t trust my brows with anyone else!

Stopped here for a basic mani during Christmas shopping. It wasn’t too bad! I picked a beautiful Butter London Red for the holidays. This is not a place to sit and relax because it’s smack in the middle of the cosmetic department. You’re kind of on display but it’s fun to watch all the shoppers. It’s quick and easy. There’s tons of color choices. They offer gel as well, but I didn’t do it. I want to try the blow dry area this week. The only thing that confusing is whether your suppose to tip or not??? I asked two sales girls and they both had different answers. It’s a department store, so am I just suppose to buy the product? Or tip? I don’t know…

I stopped by the Anastasia brow bar today and was set up to see Macaila for brow shaping/waxing. Not only was she super sweet and talkative, she did an amazing job on my eyebrows– keeping them as thick as possible with pointers on how to maintain them in between appointments. She also walked me through every step and really took her time with me, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Macaila for anyone looking for a positive brow experience :)

I usually come here to get my brows done and after walking past the nail bar month after month I finally decided to make an appointment and it was a great decision! They set aside an hour for me to get my gel manicure and every minute was used! Unlike other salons I didn’t feel rushed at all. I was with Teri today and she really spent her time perfecting my nails. I will most definitely be coming back!

The blow bar is SOCUTE and affordable! The girls here are professional and friendly. They really put you at ease and do a great job on your hair. The products they use on your hair really work and I even own a few now! Many people don’t know about this since it’s new, but definitely recommend! Plus it’s right in the cosmetics! 2 in 1!!!

I had a wedding to attend the weekend before Halloween & thought it would be nice to try out Drybar. A little over a week ahead of time, I tried to schedule a late morning appointment, but they were completely booked. After frantically searching the internet, I read about The Style Bar at Nordstrom Fashion Island. I called & Erin was incredibly helpful with scheduling(and rescheduling) my blowout appointment so I would have time for hair and makeup. I arrived about 10 minutes early, checked in and had a seat while my stylist finished up with her client. Once Liz(my stylist who didn’t introduce herself & whose name I only know because Erin was SO awesome with the scheduling) was done with her client she walked me over to her chair & asked what I wanted. I explained that I was there for wash & blowout & that I’d like a lot of volume, smoothed out with the ends flipped up. The wash went well — nothing quite like having scalp massage. The blowout was… underwhelming to say the most. I asked for the ends to be flipped up(my dress had a bit of a retro feel), but she opted for that kind curled away from the face look that every reality show chick with a weave seems to be obsessed with. Except I don’t have extensions. I have a lot of my own hair that I already explained would not really hold curl without A LOT of effort. And based on the fact that she couldn’t even accommodate my simple style request, it wasn’t a surprise that there wasn’t much effort put into the curling either. At this point though, I had another appointment to get to, so I just had to deal with it. The volume? Nonexistent. She attempted to resolve that with teasing that just resulted in several ratty sections that were not smoothed over. And she didn’t make any effort to integrate my bangs into the overall«style» — they just kind of laid there, flat and lifeless. And after all was said and done, I actually had to ask her to put some hairspray in my hair. With the pathetic amount she used, you would have thought it was on a ration list. Luckily, I had some in my purse, but In the end, it was really unsalvageable. It was clean. And dry. But that’s about it. I could have done a better job on my own.
