Lost a sale! I was going to shop here for some groceries, but I didn’t feel this store was safe and that there was probably a bad reason that they needed an unwelcoming security guard at the door so I decided to take my business elsewhere. This is Newport Beach, it’s pretty unnecessary and threatening to have security waiting for you with a judgmental frown at the door.

There are five people working behind the deli. Not one person can help anybody. And when they do help you it takes freaking forever. Don’t bother ever get anything from that place

Fyi. This Pavillion has moved to 32nd St. I was grocery shopping on my lunch break. Ordered a sandwich at the Deli counter. I ordered the all meat sandwich. It was huge! They do not skimp on the meats. It was a great tasting sandwich. I got my groceries done and lunch. Deserves 4 star! Plus o got the cinnabon coffee creamer mmmmm.

I came to this store several times while we were renting a house down the street for a week. We stocked up on everything we needed here. The store was very clean and organized. They also had a great selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices. Everyone we talked to was very friendly and helpful, as well. They have regular line to check out, as well as, self-checkout, which I prefer. We were very happy this was so conveniently located with everything we needed.

This place has terrible customer service. Normally, I would consider Pavilions to be a nice, upscale supermarket, but there isn’t much nice about this one. The staff is pretty rude and generally unhelpful. We went there tonight, and picked up a few things. We noticed that they actually had a few useful things in their clearance section, so we got a cat litter, some cat food, etc. The cashier was very confused by the clearance items, and didn’t know how to ring them up. She had to ask for help from the rude manager multiple times. After she rang us up, we realized that we had been charged far too much, so we reviewed the receipt, and went back. She had charged us for the cat litters twice, at full price and at half price. The manager returned the half price one and walked away. At this point, I was a bit confused as well. We left, not wanting to deal with it anymore, and calculated it after. We noticed that they had left the charge for the full price litter on there, so even after being returned some, they had still managed to charge us about six dollars too much. Not worth going back and dealing with the confusion and stand-offish attitudes again. If you have any other options for stores in the area, avoid this one.

A Pavilions… really? Excuse me for a minute while I slap a BMW Roundel on my Yugo, OH, damn… it worked… my Yugo is now a BMW. Nevermind all the terrible things I was gonna say about this store not being anything more than an average grocery store. It does smell funny in here though. Whatever, it gets the job done if you need cheap snacks to sneak into the Lido Theatre.

I always go late at night and have never had to stand in line. Makes sense cuz the old folks goes to bed early. But where do the bros shop? OK, where do their girlfriends shop? You’re right, you’re right. Neither of them shop at grocery stores. Us young marrieds recently bought some good ground turkey here, and it’s a great place to pick up a quick bottle of wine after hi times is closed.

This place is a shit hole. I’ve been working in the area for a few weeks now. Twice I have stopped in here to grab a quick sandwich from the deli counter. I realy didn’t expect much after all, it’s just that both times I was pressed for time, and it was the most convenient of choices. As you may figure a choice I’m not proud of. Never the less… Everyone knows convenient food is usualy crap, though this is not always the case. Well it’s not so much that the sandwich sucked, after all in the relm of deli food if you keep it simple it’s hard to realy mess up. No, it wasn’t the food. It’s the service. This store has a severe case of the 3 P’s…piss poor planning. If you do choose to shop here around the noontime hour, be prepaired to stand in line with 5 other customers while the only on duty teller struggles with some retired geriatric patron. BTW I do not blame the geriatrics, after all, god willing we all grow old.
