Paddle Board Newport Beach

First of all, I love the guy who helped us through this process. He was super chill & very friendly. I bought the paddle boarding deal from Groupon. I went with my friends and my boyfriend. It wasn’t a bad experience, but the weather was super cold that day so it was a little hard paddling! The only part I didn’t like about this area was the smell. For some reason a lot of parts of their water smelled like the sewage. Paddle boarding is a little tricky at first, but you’ll get the hang of it and if you get too tired, try sitting on the board and paddle. While going around the lake, we saw a pack of sea lions on someone’s boat, and they were super cute! All the boats that were going our way made it so hard for us to turn around and move forward because of the waves. Be careful where you paddle, you might hit the boats! Although I enjoyed this experience, I probably would go to a different location due to the smell.

Will definitely be back. The sign in was quick and we were on the water in about 5 minutes! Fast, friendly, efficient and helpful!

These guys were awesome! So sweet and nice, I’m definitely coming back. My boyfriend and I got the Groupon deal and the deal was steal! I love SUP but it was my boyfriend’s first time. He actually got the hang of it pretty fast and only fell in 3 times.
I left my wallet back at the shop after they closed but was fortunate to find one of the staff still putting the boards away down at the beach. He was so kind and walked back with me to get it for me! Whew

Paddle Newport Beach is a great company. Milo cared enough to clean the sand up at the end of the day keeping the boardwalk nice for everyone else. Keep up the good work!

my friend and I went today & the water was so nice. Our staff member was Travis and he was incredibly helpful and friendly. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend. It was so beautiful and two hours was the perfect amount of time. It was such a good experience & we’re definitely going back.

I participated in teh Susan G Koman SUP event over the weekend, and needed a paddleboard last minute. I was able to reserve my paddleboard online, (it was so easy with their options). they had a tent setup at the newport Dunnes, so picking up my board was very convenient. These guys were super chill and casual. After verifying my name, I was able to get my board. they were very helpful in explaining me the kind of board i might need based on my being a beginner! I will definitely recommend them!

Had such a fun time! Couldn’t have asked for a better day!!! Paddle boarding is such a good workout and being out on the water is amazing! We saw so many seals
too! I highly recommend renting one of the GoPro cameras, we got some rad pics and they even let us keep the memory card! Paddleboard Newport Beach is where it’s at!

Where is the sixth star? Very amazing experience! The stuff in the store are so nice to us. They gave us very considerate suggestion and useful tips for using paddle board. I highly recommend this Paddle Board Newport Beach. This is the place you definitely can trust and enjoy! BTW, I fell into water and lost my sunglasses and one of the stuff helped me to find it back!!! (which you can imaging is really difficult). I feel really lucky and I want to say thank you again!

Great service and 50% coupon from Groupon. The guys at the shop were helpful. They pointed us towards the short, two-​block walk to the beach where their boards were located. Not strict on time limits. Pretty much serve yourself, but that was better than an over-​bearing instruction and rules explanation beachside. Will definitely use them again.

My friend rented Paddle Boards for us to enjoy the beautiful weather and do something fun! He had called to ask questions and the staff had been very friendly over the phone. When we arrived we found them to be friendly in person as well. Try this place… they are friendly, affordable and do everything for you so that when you are actually on the water all you have to do is have fun!

Absolutely awesome customer service! Tyler was very friendly and helpful. He set us up, walked us and the boards down to the water, and gave us some tips. He had a great attitude and smile. Definitely will be returning!

Had a great time paddle boarding and I’m glad I chose this place. It was my first time and the staff was very friendly. The paper work was very simple and they got us started right away and carried our boards over to the sand. $ 30 for 2 hours is a great deal because it’s $ 20 for an hour! I highly recommend this place for those who want to paddle board with friends and have a great time.

They were super nice to mu cousins. We showed up as they were getting ready to close but they let them go out and experience paddle boarding at a pro-​rated price and they had fun, it was just short (by no fault of the companies)

This is the second time I have stopped by here and the door has been locked and no one there. No sign saying I’ll be back. Operating hours say you should be open. You are losing business.

Go here for a great time and easy set up! Called only an hour ahead of time, and they had paperwork and boards waiting for us… We didn’t have to wait on them :) They walked us and the boards down to the sand, made some suggestions, and we were on our way! By the way, $ 30 for two hours is a great deal! I’ll be renting here every time I want to paddleboard (at least until I buy my own board). Great job Paddle Board Newport Beach… Friendly and helpful staff! Nice equipment! And fantastic price!

In the past there has only been two reasons for me to sit down and write a review on Unilocal.These reasons being if I absolutely hated a place and did not want anyone to experience the same thing, or I loved the place enough to recommend anyone here. In this case, I am pleased to say it is the latter. This shop went above and beyond the call of just renting a paddle board, and I couldn’t be any happier!
1. The staff was exceptional!
Elizabeth who answered the phone was cheerful, knowledgeable, and very willing to help with my multiple questions. I kept switching dates and times and she was always willing to work with me.
2. They did everything!
When I arrived at the shop everything was ready to go. They delivered the board down to the water for me, and even brought it back. Kolby, who delivered the board did not just dump the boards and leave either. He stayed with me and gave me a mini-​lesson until I was comfortable enough by myself.
3. The price was affordable!
The cherry on top for this amazing place was it’s price. I searched around for a place that would have a great deal per day and I was not disappointed by this business. The service alone should have cost me way more than what I paid.

This was my first time paddle boarding, and I’m glad I chose Paddle Board Newport Beach.
The staff is knowledgable and very accommodating. We didn’t have reservations on a Sunday morning, but they got us set up without any fuss. The prices are great and the boards were in excellent condition!
I highly recommend coming here, and I’ll definitely be back!

I highly recommend this place! The service at this paddleboard rental was awesome! The employee there helped us set up and carry our paddleboards on a small lift with wheels to the water and then he told us to call when we wanted to head back to help us bring them back. This was extremely helpful because when I tried SUP in Hawaii, my friend and I had trouble carrying our boards back because the boards are pretty big and we were already tired. They gave our group tshirts to write a review and I’m finally getting to that now hehe oops.
