A great place for pizza and beer! The prices are reasonable for both.

Great pizza. Good service. Arcade games for the kids. Lots of TVs to watch any game you want. Full bar side. Great location near executive golf course and Newport Backbay.

Drinks are cheap, beers cold, shots are humongous. Pizza is so so, but atmosphere is chill. Did I mention 1 shot is like 3. Hit the bar downstairs great start and end to a nught.

Yum yum yum. Sweet &a spicy chicken wings are delicious. Pizza is yummy and you can go downstairs to the bar while you wait. It’s a must try!

I’ve been coming to this bar for three years now and it is my neighborhood bar. Drinks are reasonable priced and pours are generous. Bartenders are generally friendly but do call out those which are asses such as TS & RC who got butt hurt and are hiding now.
Food is limited to general bar fair which is alright.
People are friendly with a lot of regulars in bar area for HH from 3:00 to 6:00.
Rudy and Steve (owners) are alright.

I was not impressed, our pizza was a soupy mess in the middle and bland at that, granted this looks more like a beer and booze pizza joint, i was expecting something a bit better for the price…

The place is cool and they have a full bar. The best thing about this place is the service. They are very friendly and attentive with big smiles. The pizza is ok. Nothing special and too bready for my taste. We had the combo pizza. I’ll be back for happy hour or to try the meatball sandwich.

Best Pizza Best wings. Hands down cant beat it. The lady that complained saying the girl at the front said they use sauce out of a can… I call shenanigans. plus who trusts someone that reviews a salad at a pizza place… Lame. Keep up the good work Guys!

I tried this place for the first time tonight. I want to like this place since I like non-​chain food establishments. I was hoping to eat somebody’s home cooking. You know a cook’s pallet of skills.
I asked the cashier about the sauce on the wings and she stated «the sauce was from a plastic jug, not made on the premises.» I asked about the other appetizers and she said none were made there. She tried to convince me they were tasty though. I ordered a salad instead.
Had the a small All Meat pizza and dinner salad with vinaigrette dressing.
The salad was some romaine, mixed with very few ¼ rounds of cuc’s, 2 or 3 small slices of carrots, two pepperoncinis and a couple of slices of pepperoni. Pretty basic, but low cost. It had a pile of shredded cheese on top but I had that omitted.
The small pizza was quite large for a small. Ham, pepperoni, and the sausage was ground and layered below the cheese, maybe in the sauce? Lots of ground sausage. None of the top ingredients stood out, relatively flavorless, the sauce was most likely from a can and not enhanced. I tried to enhance the flavor with the herbs, cheese and pepper flakes on the table. But that did not help. The ground parm in the shaker had a unusual look to it. Not spoiled, just inexpensive looking.
The pizza crust was dense, not chewy, almost like a bread. For me, a pizza dough should have really well developed gluten, with a chewy texture. That’s why it can be hand-​spun thin… good gluten. Not this dough. It was moderately thick 3/​8″ to ½″ and dense, a little crisp, but almost board like.
I have other places I’d go for pizza before going back here.

Awesome food! Great prices. The pizza is really good and tasty. Steve and Rudy, the owners, have made a great place here. Steve, I think makes the best pizza in NB hands down. The crust is perfect, the sauce tastes like a trip to Italy, the cheese is liberal but not too oily. The spices are just right. Order the Frankenstein burger Off Menu if you are hungry. Taco Thursday is a great deal as well. $ 1.00 street tacos with full condiments. Overall, great place to watch my favorite sports on 15+ TVs with great people and food. My mouth is watering thinking about their pizza.

I probably drove by Original Pizza hundreds of times when I lived in Newport Beach because it is in the shopping area on the corner. I did not try it until I moved to Irvine, but my friend said it was good so I needed to give it a shot, especially since the menu offered a gluten free option for my SO.
We both enjoyed our pizzas, and my SO claimed the pizza was the best gluten free pizza she had so far. I thought the boneless wings were also tasty. I want to go back to try some of the other food on the menu and watch a game.
I especially like the location because it is across the street from a golf course and driving range.
I would give this place a 5 star rating, but I can’t fully support a Packer bar as a Niner fan. Go Niners!

I have had several very favorable experiences since the crappy pizza last year and thought that I would update. This place still has some of the best pizza in town. I am not sure what the hell happened that one time but am willing to overlook it.

Been coming here for years and the one on the peninsula and they really do have the best pizza. I finally decided to write a review after straying to another pizza place nearby that was so disappointing (has pepperoni in the name). This pizza is tasty, has a great crust and sauce and excellent customer service! Five stars!!!

Celebrated one of my coworker’s birthday at lunch last week. You have to order your food at the register first then get seated at the bar. An order of their sliced pizza comes with 2 slices and you only have a choice between cheese or pepperoni. If you like greasy pizza, this is your spot!

I discovered this gem about 6 months ago. I’ve been going here at least once a week since then. The pizzas are the best I have ever had. The crust is amazing! I’ve always asked for extra sauce and for my pizzas to be made well-​done at any pizza parlor that I go to. They do it right at OG2. Just the way I like it.
This location has many TV screens for watching sports. It’s great when my friends come along. The fountain sodas are help-​yourself refills (free). They also installed a new tea dispenser that is amazing, too. The staff here is really friendly! (The staff at the one by Balboa Pier location isn’t so friendly, though.)
The man whom I assume is the owner is a nice man who makes sure each customer knows they are appreciated. He acknowledges everyone while going about his tasks in the restaurant. He’s very active in the daily operations of the place which is a great example to set to the rest of his staff.
I’ve never been downstairs where they often have live bands but the entire place seems family-​friendly. There are video games and a photobooth.
I don’t live close to OG2. It’s quite a trek for me but I won’t go anywhere else now for pizza. It reminds me of the classic hand-​tossed pizzas that I grew up with. Great ingredients. Great service. Great space.

Good pizza, good sweet and sour wings (be sure to get them extra crispy!), good beer selection. Good place to come in for a quick bite for stop for a few beers. Family friendly and has something for everyone. Salads are at a good price and big!

DO NOT GO HERE! Especially if you’re a woman!!!
I went to the lady’s room and a man followed me in there from the restaurant! His friend tried to defend his creepy actions as we called the sheriff’s department!
I feel disgusted by this place! And this was my «I’ll give it another try» experience!
The first time I went to the Anchor Bar below and a guy sent me a drink assuming I was single. After my husband walked in we laughed with the bartender about it! Turns out this guy was married himself! Long story short he found out where I worked and called me trying to explain so he wouldn’t get in trouble by his wife!!!
This place is crawling with creeps!!!
I will never go back! Luckily the food is absolutely horrible so I could care less! It’s not even worth mentioning in this review! I feel bad for the nice girls who work there!

So, after a long hiatus, I recently gave OG Pizza 2 (Eat the Best) a second shot. I was pleasantly surprised!
The pizza is now thick and generous with toppings. They also have some specials including $ 1 Taco Thursdays (chicken, carnitas, or carne asada) served all day until 9pm. The staff is super friendly.
If you come in for lunch, you’ll be hard-​pressed to find a seat at the bar, because it’s full of men. Perhaps it has something to do with super friendly staff… You’ll just have to come in to see! I mean, you’ll just have to come in to experience the good service! Yes. That’s it.

Great deals for a pizza join that sells tacos! LOL
Seriously though, the cheese taste like really cheese and the pepperonis are great. If you enjoy pizza and beer, you will really like the pizza deal they have for lunch.
Thursday’s, you can grab some tacos and a pitcher for $ 10, which is awesome! Plenty of TV’s to watch sports, so you won’t be bored…
