Mist Pool Party

Who would of thought the Radisson would be going off on Sundays with a Vegas style pool party filled with booze, blondes, booties and boobies, and beats? During the summer, Identity Management Group (they run Club Ten (X) and Sutra) put on MIST every other Sunday. The Radisson’s pool is transformed into a pool side party and the tennis court adjacent tent is made into a bar, lounge, and buffet. While I saw girls doing acrobat gymnastics revealing their brazilian waxed tacos in translucent plastic bubble boy-​style balls in the pool, tops falling off, and several people being thrown into the pool, it was only marginally more raunchy than your typical Vegas style pool party with EDM bumping non stop. Lots of plastic, make up, and fancy newport crowd dressing to impress (or for that matter, not dressing lol). It was a lot of fun for an OC party with cool people having a good time, 4 person (but we put many more girls in) rafts, squirt guns, and lot of alcohol. Bottle service is preferred pool side, do not get it in the lounge/​tennis court area. Bring a towel and a bag to keep your cell phone dry. I really wish they would offer lockers or a coat/​shirt check. Valet only in the hotel, but I would recommend parking across the street since it’s free street parking, just a short walk. It’s funny to see the pool divided up by race: you had Asians by the jacuzzi, Persians by the pool center, and white Newport crowd to the deep end. A few tatted out bros from 909 and roided out dudes with caked on drama queens, but most people are pretty cool. Quintessential Orange County party scene, but it’s good to see everyone having fun together. I highly recommend contacting a promoter and arriving before 3pm as they start charging then.
