Kohei has worked on my body numerous times. He has been the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I must also disclose that I have been to a lot of massage therapist. He is truly gifted. I’m sure he can do a great relaxing massage, but I KNOW he knows injuries and can work on painful areas. He is amazing at therapeutic work. He knows the body and can find all the spots that you didn’t even know existed. Your body will thank you for seeing him. Be sure to give it enough time. One or two times won’t do it. It’s taken your body a long time to get to pain, and it takes some time to fix it. In summary– he is the best.

Kohei came to my house last night and gave me the best massage as usual. He also spent a lot time giving me physical therapy (manual manipulation) on my shoulder and arms. What a huge difference it made! My arms and shoulder are so much more flexible afterward (a little sore as expected, too)!

Where to start. After doing a lot of research and trying out different locations i FINALLY found the one. I have visited Kohei twice now and I could say that he has given me the BEST massage i have had in my life. I have never felt so released from tension. It was the perfect combination of deep tissue and therapeutic. I told him that I had lower back hypertension and he focused on the area and explained to me what was going on with my body. I felt relaxed but at the same time i walked out of the room feeling like a load of stress was released from my back. When he gives a massage he ignores the time and just focuses on making you feel better. He wont let you walk out the door until you feel better… Absolutely amazing…

This is one of the best massage experiences I have ever had. Researching massage options that would fit my budget led me to Kohei, who already has RAVE reviews on Unilocal.I called him and we arranged to meet at the massage studio in Tustin, moments away from my house (there is one also in Corona Del Mar that was an option). He met me within the hour, greeted me at the door, and welcomed me inside. After the usual paperwork, he led me to a back private room, and did a quick examination of my posture, my jaw muscles, different things that he could improve. He proceeded to give me the most amazing massage. God, what can I say? It was great, and I left feeling like a million freaking dollars. If I hadn’t moved away, I’d be in that massage bed every week, AND he only charged me $ 45. It was comparable to $ 170 massages I’ve had at luxury spas, just no «spa» stuff. Call him, you will not regret it. Also, he is super thoughtful and sent me «thank you» texts and one a few days later wishing me well on my move. So sweet!

The massage therapist, Kohei, does an excellent job assessing your condition and then treating with massage and stretching. He also knows physical therapy and takes time to educate you about body mechanics and home exercises. My wife and I each had several treatments for different conditions and plan to continue. The deep tissue massage is skillful and healing and the therapist is professional and generous with his time. Located in a small retail space in an Asian strip mall, this is no spa, but massage is performed in a clean curtained cubicle. The owner, Karen, offers acupuncture but I did not partake.

I have had MANY massages to address my ever-​growing list of problem kinks & whatnot, and Kohei really tops the list. He is very professional, addresses you from a holistically medical (but warm!) perspective, and takes his time with you! There is no rush to move on to the next client; he seems sincerely concerned with resolving your physical ailment (s) in the time that is needed at the moment. This is no overpriced, impress-you-with-fancy-oils-&-psuedo-Asian-ambiance massage; this is for people who are looking for serious relief as well as a relaxing hour (or two!) on the table.

I am thankful for having come across previous Unilocalers on this topic and having decided to check it out. I suffer from chronic neck-​shoulder pain and therefore, have had massages for a long time and very frequently, and of different types. Kohei is one of the best massage therapists I have had. I routinely see him now. The place is not romantic, but what you get is very therapeutic.

I’m a simple guy. I don’t need fancy spas, steam rooms, sauna’s, scented oils, and such.
Just give me a firm deep tissue or shiatsu massage, and when I ask for it harder, for the masseuse to be able to accommodate my request.
I was delightfully surprised as I got exactly what I wanted, at a very good price.
Now, if you do want some sort of oil, they have that, my girlfriend did that with her deep tissue massage and liked it very much.
I will for sure go back there.
