If you are looking for senior care, definitely contact Golden Age Companions. Scott the owner, is compassionate, caring and will work hard to find a great match for you. He has access to plenty of caregivers and takes the time to be involved and truly cares about his clients. Scott and Golden Age have been key in helping with the care for my Mom with Alzheimers after we lost my Dad last July (who was her primary caregiver). I have and will continue to highly recommend them over an other agency out there!

Golden Age Companions is an awesome company to work for! I’ve been with the company for a year now and they are truly one of the best organizations I have ever worked with! Scott McKenzie, the CEO and owner, is a very sweet person and cares about his employees as much as he cares about his Clients; that says a lot considering Golden Age offers top notch service to their Clients. All the Clients I have personally assisted have been extremely happy with Golden Age Companions and Scott, and wouldn’t have it any other way. A super huge shout out to Golden Age Companions for their excellence in homecare!!!

I can’t thank Golden Age Companions enough for helping me through such a difficult time of my life. My grandfather has a life threatening procedure that took him longer than expected to recover from. He was admitted to ECF or Extended care facility. I cannot even describe to you how bad of an experience it was. I have seen animals treated better than some of the patients admitted to ECF’s. Fortunately for us, we interviewed Golden Age companions and the decision was simple. They not only allowed us to take my grandfather out of the ECF but there caregivers were so nurturing. I can’t thank you guys enough and tell you what an impact you had on my family. The caregiver was so kind to my grandfather, He is a hard man to deal with, he can be very demanding, our caregiver still stops by the home to check on him from time to time.

Scott has created a company that is compassionate and a great resource for those in the Newport Beach area needing care for a loved one. The company is knowledgeable and provides a strong, reliable resource seniors. With so many in home care providers out there, finding a good home care company can be difficult. However, I would highly recommend Golden Age Companions without hesitation.

Not just your normal care-​giving agency, they are not a big «machine» but take extra care to find the best situation for your loved one. Excellent service and very attentive staff make the transition smooth and you feel like a load has been taken off your shoulders knowing they are being taken care of in the best possible way. I needed care for my great aunt, Janice. I called Scott for an assessment and he was able to come over to my moms house personally and have a caregiver working with my mom the very next day. Golden Age goes the extra mile. They send birthday cards and flowers that everyone at the office signs, and have called to check up on us periodically. They always go above and beyond and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone else in need of in home care services.
