I recommend finding a place that offers a trial period, we spent thousands on a mattress that didn’t end up feeling as plush as it did in the store. No returns are accepted so we are stuck with an expensive mattress that hurts my back.

UPDATE 2÷22÷16: Note: My review is from when the store was located on Jamboree and Michelson. this store has since moved to Newport Beach and it sounds like it is under new management since my bad experience! The new store manager, Debbie, is working to resolve my issue! I will update my review with hopefully positive results!
Previous review: Buyer beware! We spent over $ 3,000 at Ergo Beds on a Pure Laxtex Bliss Nature Cal King Mattress and Topper (plus 2 pillows and a frame). This bed is anything but blissful! It is one of the worst purchases we have ever made. The first issue was we did not notice how heavy the latex mattress was until it was delivered. We are both very fit people and it is so heavy to lift even just the corners to make the bed it is very difficult and I usually need my husbands help to get the mattress pad on etc. An older person or someone out of shape would never be able to make this bed on their own. It is so heavy, I don’t even want to think about how we would ever move the bed if we had to move. But worse than that the «topper» never fit properly… it is WAY too small for the bed. It is almost like they gave us a King size topper for a CalKing Bed or something is not correct. The topper and the bed are totally different sizes. I immediately called the store to tell them and was told multiple times someone would call me back and no one ever did. Finally my husband and I went down to the store to show them pictures I had taken on my cell phone and the sales person agreed it was an issue and assured us that someone would be in touch. No one ever called or contacted us. Because the topper is too small the bed is so uncomfortable unless you are sleeping by yourself in the middle of the bed. And now that we have had the bed for awhile it is getting even worse with the corners of the topper curling up. My husband and I have not had a good night sleep since we purchased the bed! For a higher end mattress store the customer service is terrible! They clearly do not stand behind their products or someone would have rectified this by now for us. With so many options available today, I would shop elsewhere.

My sleep is much better now! I recommend you check this place out before you purchase elsewhere! You’ll be glad you did!

I recently got married, with that I have my first child on the way. To say the least my wife and I are ecstatic! But comes the reality of my wife being pregnant and incredibly uncomfortable at night when trying to sleep. Last week I was forced to burn our old spring mattress or be exiled to bachelorhood again. After the flames settled I made my way to Ergo to avoid further disaster. I purchased the Tempur — Cloud Elite bed. Not exactly a cheap way out but this is how I figure it… You spend about 8 hours a day sleeping and about 2 hours a day driving. Average price of a decent car is $ 15,000+… Plus my wife and I get cranky without a decent nights sleep. Since the purchase, comfort level is night and day to what it was before. I’m very happy with the selection and with the sales associate who understood my needs and pointed me to bed that best suited for us. I thank Ergo for my happy wife and happy life!

This is a long due review and I should have been posted it in July. I really enjoyed the experience purchasing the 3^rd mattress from Ergo! The store was initially located at Jamboree and 405, moved to Laguna Hills just for about a year. I am an old customer when it was in Irvine and took a bit of time to relocate the new store and realized that is the same one with same owner I used to purchase mattress from. The owner Michael is extremely helpful and providing suggestions for mattress and pillows. I was very glad to reconnect it with the store.
As I am a little closer to their Newport store, I got the chance of going to Newport to pick up some pillows that were out of stock in Laguna Hills. There I met the wonderful lady Debbie, she went extra miles talking with my home designer to figure out the right mattress/​box string with the new bed I was purchasing. Could not believe how much important to make the eight selection.

I went into Ergo Beds in Newport Beach looking for an organic mattress that would give me some pain relief. I have sciatica and fibromyalgia. I don’t want to take medication so I decided to try this first. After I explained my situation to the sales person, Debbie, she was able to explain to me how having a mattress on an adjustable frame could relieve pressure on my entire body. They had a number of choices of pure organic and latex mattresses but I ended up with the adjustable Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe with a built in cooling system and that was a perfect fit for me (since I wake up hot all the time). I didn’t even know such a thing existed. It wasn’t the organic mattress I originally thought I wanted but I’ve had the bed for several months now and I am happy to report that I am practically pain free! I can’t say enough about the education I got from this experience and they have so many choices of beds that I’ve never seen in any other store. Just go, they are experts.
