Cue is a great place for a guy’s cut. Emily is awesome — does it right every time. The complimentary drinks are a nice touch too. The salon itself is also pretty cool, and always super clean. All in all, I’ll be going here for a long time.

I had a great experience at this salon. The vibe is super relaxing and the salon itself is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming. Ivone, hair expert, totally exceeded my expectations. She was very thorough and knowledgeable with all the questions I had for her regarding my hair transformation. She is so easy to talk to and so professional! I would highly recommend anyone to this salon and book your appointment with Ivone.

So great to find a salon that doesn’t disappoint! I had my hair cut and Colored by Adrienne and she did a fantastic job! I was really happy with her suggestions and ended up with a style that was a little different to my usual cut and color it looked great! Took years off me and I received so many compliments!
I also had a facial treatment with Alyse Sullivan and again couldn’t have been happier with the result. I had the Micro Detox and my skin looked and felt fantastic afterwards, it really glowed. It plumped up my skin, giving it a more fresh and youthful appearance as that facial boosts Collagen production. The next day I could really see a difference, it looked so healthy. Will definitely be going back as often as I can!
Basically, one very happy customer! Can’t recommend this salon enough!

This is my new favorite salon! The blowouts here are amazing; clean space and the service is exceptional and consistent. They have a friendly staff and the salon offers an overall wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend Cue!

Absolutely love this salon! The staff is super friendly and skilled. I get my hair done from Adrienne every time and I am always a very happy customer. She cuts and styles my hair exactly as I want and I always feel so confident once done! She also styled my hair for a recent wedding, as well as did my makeup. I received so many compliments and absolutely loved the way my hair and makeup photographed. If only I knew her prior to my wedding! :)
The salon in general is very clean and elegant. The new owners have truly transformed this salon for the better and you can tell they are passionate about making this one of the best salon’s in Newport Beach!

I regret getting my hair done there. First I had to wait 40 min, even though I had an apptm. And worst of all, the balayage I had done doesn’t have a transition, you can clearly see a definite line: top of my head dark brown, the rest of the hair is yellow. When I questioned this, I was told to use purple shampoo! This is what happens when the stylist ego gets in the way… Don’t waste your time and money!!!

I love this salon and I love my color my by Jack. It’s clean and everyone is always helpful! If you had bad experiences with color see a color specialist someone who only focuses on color is not distract anything else try Jack!

This review has nothing to do with the stylists but everything with the newest management. I have been going to Cue (formerly Jack Winn) for several years and always left feeling great! But ever since the newest owner took over, I leave feeling bitter, unhappy and nickel and dimed. Because of time and because I only have my hair colored and wear it perfectly straight, I have always blow dried my own hair just to get the moisture out before putting it in a pony tail and rushing out the door. Today I was told that I would have to pay an additional $ 20 for a quick blow dry and I think $ 40 to have it styled. I asked if I would be allowed to blow dry my own hair next time if I brought my own hair dryer. The answer came back a resounding NO! The owner didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me herself and explain the policy. It was apparent that she wanted to squeeze as much money as possible from me. Cue’s prices are already on the highest end so an additional $ 20 to $ 40 seemed unwarranted and greedy for just taking the moisture out of my hair. When Jack Winn owned the salon, there was a styling station set up for clients with complimentary products and styling tools for DIYers so this was definitely unsavory and a completely different experience. Nevertheless, I had to comb out my own hair and walk out of the salon with dripping wet hair to avoid the additional charge. This is definitely NOT good customer service!!! However, if you want excellent color, fabulous extensions or a great hair style, see Whitney, Jack or Emily… they are exemplary! Just bring extra money or expect to walk out with wet hair…

The employees were great, but the new owner only gave me half credit for my gift certificate and she doubled the price of my haircut from what she quoted me over the phone only two days earlier. She seemed like an opportunist, trying to milk me for all I was worth. I would never go here again, just for that reason. I feel bad for anyone working under her. Very unprofessional, bad business person.

My hair always looks beautiful when I walk out the door! Lauren Adams is the best… my color always looks fabulous! And she’s a wonderful girl — such a sweetheart! And Emily Evans is my stylist! She’s awesome, knowledgeable and the nicest young lady! I have been going here for quite some time and this salon is very nice! Thank you girls for all you do! Much appreciated! XOX
