Chris Black – imortgage

If I can give him negative 10 I would’ve. The process was awful but I trusted him even though my wife told me to walk away. He made so many promises and at the end it was all lies. He delayed providing the GFE and played a game until the end and all the figures he gave me were wrong. I had to pay points or have higher interest rates. He told me he locked the loan on a Monday after I sent him the signed contract but come to find out he didn’t for 10 days. Then he said he felt bad and promised to send me a gift card for the second processing fee of $ 500 because he stated he will waive the UW and processing fees for the first and second which I have never seen. He did waive the processing fee for the 1^st but also after a fight and he kept staring that they are losing money on this Loan; B.S. He said I changed counties and that’s why the rates were not available as he promised; he told me that 10 days after I sent him the signed contract which clearly state A different counties. He DID not look at the signed contract for 10 whole days.
He kept saying he is traveling for work, family emergencies, and many other family issues which makes you feel bad but at the end it was lies. Then he kept saying don’t worry about it, I promise to get you what I told you. It was too late to change. I already lost one house because I went to another lender and Chris called me and even called the other lender and made threats but come to find at least the other lender was honest and truthful but I unfortunately trusted Chris at that time.
I have text and emails all saved. Feel free to email me if you like. You would hope this not IMortgage practice mainly Chris Black; the lending agent.
It is sad when you read the CEO bio on their website he talks about the three important key areas that made the company successful, proven track record, financial strength and integrity. Maybe as a company the first two are true (I wouldn’t know) but integrity is far from the truth as I experienced it first hand.
I even texted him so many times about the gift card and he kept saying I sent it and my assistant sent it to the wrong address. Then he stopped replying. I was willing to let go of he delivered on his last promise.
I will be sending a letter with all the emails and texts to the CEO and let him determine if what happened was true and part of their «integrity» process.

Chris Black is a consummate professional, he got my family a loan when no one else could. On top of that he got us the best interest rate on our 30 year fixed loan. Furthermore he closed the loan in 11 days which is unheard of! I will use Chris again, and i would refer him to my own family, and friends.

I used to work in the mortgage industry myself, so I was very aware of how well Chris was taking care of me. His disclosure statements and fees were very reasonable and affordable for me. Don’t waste any time and take advantage of the historically low interest rates! Chris Black is a very honest and trustworthy Loan Officer. Don’t get sucked into these radio & TV ads. Always work with someone that was recommended.
