Zany’s Cuts For Kids & Tweens

I was extremely happy with my experience here today. I had tried to have my 2 year old’s hair cut twice before at other places, but he wouldn’t let the scissors come anywhere near him! I had given up hope, but thought I would give Zany’s a try.
Crystal was able to give my little boy a fantastic haircut! I was in shock! My little boy happily sat in the Thomas the tank engine chair and munched on snacks while Crystal worked her magic. It was a great experience, and my little boy said he wanted to come back again tomorrow! It really was great– my little boy doesn’t even like having his hair brushed– so the fact that she was able to comb it and cut it was really quite impressive. I am very grateful and would recommend Crystal to all my friends. Great place, great haircut.

I have followed the owner from her previous place of employment to Zanys. I am ALWAYS very pleased with the haircut that she gives my son. She gave him his very first haircut, and continues to cut his hair now (he will be 5 next week). I am so pleased that she decided to open Zanys here in Newnan. This is THE PLACE to go for your childs haircut!

We have visited several other kids cuts places and well we never made it to a haircut. This place is the spot to take any kids under the age of say seven for a haircut. They staff is polite, professional, and amazing with the kids!
The prices are somewhat high but totally worth it when your kid comes out with a smart, clean hair style and most of the time without any trauma or tears! (can’t win them all I’m afraid) Cannot recommend this place enough for perfect kids haircuts.

I am a proud helicopter mom, and as such, I was incredibly nervous entrusting my daughter’s long, curly locks to anyone. Zany is an adorable salon, with televisions at every booth and lollipops for jobs well done. Crystal was very professional and did a great job with my daughter’s hair. We will definitely be returning!

I have a three year old son that DETESTS getting hair cuts. He has cried during his first cut all the way to his 30^th. It does not get better with frequency. So I looked for a place that specialized in hair cuts for kids.
I took my son to Zany’s for the first time right before he turned 2. I continued to take him there for a year. The first experience (with one of the owners) was a 5 and steadily declined every visit after.
The last straw was when my husband took my son in for a haircut. I called ahead and made the appointment. He checked it with the front desk and waited 30 minutes and 2 customers after the appointment time. When my son got in his chair the stylist started to taunt my son’s crying. She would make comments to my husband about my son’s behavior in a sing song voice that frankly just succeeded in pissing both my son and husband off more. My husband explained that his mother used to cut my son’s hair but we didn’t like the bowl cut she would undoubtedly give him. Her response? «Well then you stuck him with us huh? Aren’t we lucky?» I am glad that my husband was there and I was not, she might have gotten a little more than just a talking to.
I did call the owner and she apologized for the stylist’s behavior, saying that she needed to continue to «train her staff» She also asked what she could do to make it better. I responded that I wanted nothing but to report the bad service. She then noted on my son’s name that his next hair cut was to be free. There is no need because we will not be back. Unless you can guarantee that one of the owners is cutting your child’s hair be prepared for stylists that don’t listen, snarky attitudes and people that very clearly do not belong in a salon cutting childrens’ hair.

Is getting your child’s hair cut a battle then consider Zany’s in Ashley Park and you will battle no more. While getting your hair cut your child can watch tv or play a video game and before they know it their hair is done. Last week my parents were visiting and they took the boys for a hair cut and tried to take them to another place and they refused they wanted to go to Zany’s.
