Vintage Flea

I would like to point-​out that the Vintage Flea has believed in Newnan before Newnan became cool. As much as I would like to retract the last sentence, I cannot because the Newnan Square is the place to go (this is probably more of a statement on the floundering economy of the southern metro-​Atlanta area and Newnan’s lack of a tax hike than it is on the «coolness» of the Newnan Square.
Valerie, the owner, is really neat. Basically a gem. The shop is jam-​paced with items that kind of look like what is on Etsy and items designed locally. The store is basically a reflection of a rustic-​shabby-​chic style that Valerie seems to embody. They carry all kinds of home décor items, and parts of the store are dedicated to vendors that Valerie consigns the space to. She also maintains a blog and has frequent craft workshops and sales.
I love going here when I am in town.
