Taco Mac

Now that’s a burger! Thick, juicy and cooked exactly as I ordered. I recommend the mushroom steak burger. They didn’t use the thin, canned mushrooms — real buttons. And the A1 mayo is delicious! ! We also had the new dry rub wings in Korean black garlic. They were good but even better was the ranch dressing that came with the celery! I would buy that by the bottle, yum! This is my first time here but it won’t be my last that’s for sure.

I have been here on 3 different occasions and both the service and food were great each time. This is a family-​oriented sports bar with plenty of big screen TVs for viewing sporting events. On different occasions, we have had the fried fish tacos, chicken wings and hamburgers and they were all excellent.

I had the taco trio with the steak, chicken, and buffalo chicken. All were good. My date had the Chicken Avocado and Bacon Sandwich which was pretty good. The beer selection here is ridiculous.

Absolutely one of my favorite sports bars ever! I’ve watched my Clemson Tigers there half the games this season, and the staff is very accommodating whether it’s game day or not. Josh, the manager, will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great experience and will adjust tvs by request so all customers can get the game they want. The food always comes out correct, and they have good variety. Being able to sit down for a while, change a tv to the game I want, and have a variety of food choices makes this place great. The staff only makes it better by consistently checking on your needs and making an effort to get to know you as a regular. Thanks josh for a great Clemson season and experience! I go out of my way to come to this taco mac versus watching at home because the experience is worth it.

Like other reviewers: Taco Mac is consistently inconsistent with food/​service. People really love their wings. I ordered a black bean burger patty on the bacon ranch burger but it falls apart when you pick it up, so maybe it should be wrapped halfway but it was good. The ranch made in the restaurant and is always good– I make sure to get onion rings as a side so I can take advantage.

One of my favorite places to go when I’m back home. Great selection of beers at mostly decent prices. Food isn’t great but it’s good enough to compliment the beer selection. Lots of TVs, great spot to watch a game.

Poor Service. Terrible Food Preparation.
My hubby and I came in to eat some of our favorite menu items: chicken wings and the buffalo burger. After a bad experience in the ladies restroom watching an employee leave the stall fully knowledgeable that there was no more toilet paper, and then fail to let the customers aware of this as they headed into the same stall, I walked back to my table to experience a continuation of this Taco Mac nightmare. We ordered our food, and waited patiently despite a long wait, to only be welcomed with cold food, dry/​over-​cooked wings, and a buffalo burger with no buffalo sauce. Moreover, hubby and I, during our anniversary weekend, are leaving indefinitely dissatisfied. On the way home, my husband also became sick which he contributes to the chicken he consumed. He didn’t want to believe it was old chicken, but was convinced by the severe stomach pain he experienced.

Pretty good selection at taco Mac, can get a little pricey at times. Best beer selection around and tacos are very good. The street corn is probably the worst thing I’ve ever put on my mouth though. Black beans much better. I do like the tortilla with the nacho appetizer salsa kind of chunky and sweet. Service here was pretty good nice place to stop on long road trip

Taco Mac is the best! My family and I go here all the time. I always get the boneless wings, which have never let me down. It’s especially fun for a game day/​night.

This is my favorite local beer place. Tons of beer on tap and in bottles. Pint nite is Thursday so stop in for a free glass. Food is an ever changing mystery. It used to be great and then, for some reason, things started changing. Probably due to cost control. Good, but just not as much as it used to. Quality decreased and they eliminated some things (like tacos). So I give the beer selection 5 stars and the food 2. Par of 3. Maybe they will get it together so I can avoid drinking some beers and then going to another restaurant to eat.

I frequent Taco Mac fairly frequently, mostly for the beer. I have a love/​hate relationship with this place. What frustrates me more than anything else is that it has so much stinking potential. They do good business, but could do much, much more if the food was consistent.
Tonight, I had wings, like I’ve had dozens of times in the past. Tonight, I spit it out after the first bite. They were over-​cooked and literally tasted like old meat. They very well could have been twice cooked. Regardless, I didn’t eat them.
Also, adding to the frustration, many of the beers are now 11 oz pours. Not cool for beers that are commonly $ 8+.
C’est la vie…
Yes, I’ll go back again, but the thought really doesn’t excite me.

This is right down the street from our house– it’s perfectly located between our place of business and our home. I REALLY want to like it. The problem is we’ve tried Taco Mac 6 or 7 times and it’s always a train wreck. This restaurant is run so terribly it’s obvious as soon as you walk through the door. The manager is a mess– I have spoken with him twice (Gary) came to our table the last time we were there (two plus hours and still didn’t have the right food) and apologized. I explained to him I wasn’t looking for a free meal– I just thought he should know all the problems with service and wait times and food times he had. He clearly didn’t get it– he just wanted to get away from the table as fast as possible. Feedback was not something he wanted. There is no reason why it should take 20 plus minutes to get drinks-​mine had lipstick stains on the wine glass. Why our appetizers should show up WAY after some of our entrees, why a hostess should hand me silverware– not wrapped in anything– WAY after our food arrived after I asked the server for it, That is just bad management– and it happens over and over and over. In fact I can’t even reference ONE good experience we’ve had there. NO BUENO. My husband and I eat out at least 3 times a week. I have been to every restaurant in Newnan, this is the worst. Go ANYWHERE else– and that includes the questionable hibachi place right down the road… it may be a little dirty but the service is good and so is the food!

To preface… I would easily put this same review for every Taco Mac I have ever visited!
When back in town and looking to catch up with friends and family alike, this is our go to place. The beer selection cannot be touched by any other place for miles and the food is always decent, nothing special about it, but you always get what you expect to get food wise. There nachos are always my jam, those and the buffalo tenders.
The atmosphere is always great, especially for sporting events and the service is always on point. Overall, solid place from start to finish.

As with most all T-​Macs… The beer selection is phenomenal… And always ice cold! The food… Well it’s certainly no gastropub, but I can’t complain. Service was good and so was the Guacamole on my nachos. My favorite? The buffalo ranch sauce. I’ll take T-​Mac over B-​Dubs any day!

Service can be questionable. Food is always good. Beer selection is superb. Atmosphere is top notch for sports entertainment.

This place is dirty. We went to grab a quick bite on a Friday afternoon. Food and service was ok but the floor was filthy! Sticky and nasty. My shoes were sticking to the ground when I left there. Blehhh… Will not return

This place is pretty hit or miss. On service. I’ll say the one in peachtree city is much better in that aspect.
The food, meh it’s bar food. You know what you’re getting. Greasy, fatty, food .
Overall it’s an ok place .
The beer selection is probably the only reason I ever go to the place. Relatively cheap alcohol gets 3stars.

I came in for their Thursday Pint Night. They feature a brewery and offer a free pint glass when you purchase one of the featured drafts. It starts at 5pm and my coworkers and I arrived around 6pm. We were immediately seated and informed there were no longer any pints. Pint «Night» was more like Pint Hour. We ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer and the salsa was great, but the chips were stale. Most of the food is overpriced and seasoned poorly. I ordered a steak quesadilla and a side of french fries. The quesadilla was half the size you would encounter at any mexican restaurant and twice the price and the fries were incredibly overseasoned. This place is a great place to grab a brew, but they should work on the food.

Taco-​Mac is a franchise, it serves quality food with decent prices. This Taco Mac can be hit or miss with the staff knowledge of the beet but the service is always adequate and timely. Beer selection is of course excellent and again the food is never a miss.
If you like good wings and a large selection of suds give it a go.
