9⁄10. Quick service excellent food. The lunch special was very reasonable. There is one guy working the place but he was very quick with service and very nice.

It’s ironic that this place is called Sushi Pronto… we waited for 10 minutes before the chef/host/waiter/cashier came to greet us and hand us menus. Run by a one man army, the sushi here was just ok. I ordered the dragon roll –it was nothing spectacular. There were more minuses than pluses to the place… The restaurant didn’t have proper ventilation so by the time we left, my clothes and hair smelled like cooking oil. While waiting for our food, the only other occupied table finished eating and went to pay. The chef stopped midway cooking our food to go and check them out. While it wouldn’t have mattered much, I wasn’t too confident that he had gloves on while food prep as I didn’t see them when he moved over to the register. After we got our food, he left us alone and went outside to smoke just outside the front door leaving us alone with no service. I like to support small local businesses but this was just asking for too much…

Smells like fish… Old fish. Walked in and there were dirty dishes everywhere and one guy trying to do everything… Not impressed…

Place is gross, dirty, one man operation, sat at bar bc no one could serve us. Fly buzzing around our food. The cucumber wrapped sushi was actually very good, but the salmon smelled fishy and didn’t taste right so we didn’t eat it. Dirty dishes at the bar, garbage on the floor, menus were sticky, really gross I don’t know why we stayed. I hope they seriously clean it up before they go out of business or get someone sick.

Came in for lunch the other day. Was a little hard to find and honestly never heard of the place. I wanted to try a new sushi place I’ve been to many around newnan. The owner here does everything himself and needs a server so he can do better advertising. But he managed to have everything out in enough time. Some people are impatient. this is not fast food. He makes his own sauce(even his own Eel sauce which most Asian restraints buy it.) He’s a nice man if you actually talk to him and he cares about everything being natural no perservatives. He has a lot of knowledge about health. Everything is made fresh. Alot of Japanese restraints premake the spicy tuna… he would cut the tuna fresh than mix. Which is awesome. The soup was better than most miso I have tried. Taste clean. I had a glass of cold plum wine and 2 special roll lunch with 2 piece Shumai Atlanta roll and dragon roll. Everything down to the Wasabi and ginger was awesome. Glass of wine two rolls w soup salad and sumac 17 bucks. Not bad at all.

So, to start I know Newnan does not feature an abundance of Sushi places, so my expectations for this place were not exactly high from the start. We went in the mid-afternoon on a Saturday. There was only two other tables sat when we walked in, first we were not greeted by anyone and after a few moments decided to just sit ourselves. A few minutes passed and the sushi chef came over and dropped menus off with out saying anything. Once we sat there for a few minutes, we received a couple of waters and submitted our sushi order. The time it took to get our sushi was normal, no delays or excessive waits. Once we got our sushi, the first thing you notice is how small the rolls are. Easily the tiniest sushi rolls I have ever had. It was more of a snack than it was a lunch. Additionally, we ordered some sashimi which never made it to the table… even though there were only two other tables sat in the place. Overall, the sushi was basic mediocre sushi on the small side. Nothing great and nothing absolutely terrible. As one of the few sushi places in the area, it delivers what is expected. I honestly don’t think I will return.

This place has an affordable lunch special. I like their spicy tuna rolls and the service is always good. I will not say the best sushi bar but its good for what is available locally. The place unfortunately will either be empty or have a few customers perhaps due to its location on the other side of the street from all the shopping establishments.

Great Sushi but don’t be in a hurry! Work at their own pace here and it’s not quick. Only one person working the whole restaurant. Still the sushi fresh and well made.

I really like/love sushi. I stopped by for lunch one day while in Newnan. There was 1 chef and 1 server. Took my order and it seriously took 25 mins for me to get my food. I had nigiri and the fish was paper thin and small, dry and tasted like crap. Onto the spicy tuna rolls and I kid you not, the rolls were slightly bigger than the size of a quarter, the taste was nothing to write home about. The Miso soup was weird, it did not have soft tofu. Instead, had I think fried tofu or something and tasted weird.

Do not eat here. We went there last week and the only employer there was asleep at the bar. It took us yelling at him to wake him up. Once he provided us menus his apron was so filthy that we had to leave.

The seaweed salad was good. The sushi was much better than their sashimi. Each time we go there I expect good and it’s good. It would be a good place for a date because it’s quiet and you don’t feel like you have to yell at others for them to hear you. Beer was cold service was good.

The lunch menu is nice, sushi was delicious, but the sushi was not pronto! There were only 4 of us in the whole joint and it was about 30 minutes after we ordered to get out sushi. Overall it was delicious and I would definitely come back if I’m not in any hurry and not expecting my sushi pronto.

This was an unusual experience since we were the only ones in the place. It was lunch and this sushi bar is not easy to get to because of location and road access. This is a true sushi bar as there are no Japanese steaks or chefs flipping shrimp tails. I liked their food and selections. The rolls were not so thick with rice, which struck me as a bit different and positive. Sushi Pronto has been in business for over four years and the Korean owner reports that the business is doing OK. He seemed to be the only employee, which in this case was enough. You should try it!

I love this place! I no longer live in Newnan but eat here whenever I’m in town! They’re lunch specials are a great deal, but you have to go before 2pm. Service can be a little slow because everything is run by a husband and wife pair and it’s just the two of them. But that’s part of what makes this place so good. Seriously, my favorite spot to eat in Newnan. Get the drunken Tiger and crab delight, they’re the best!

The air was out when my wife and I visited, and it was kinda hot. Ip didn’t have high hopes for this place when we first walked in, but I must admit the sushi was good. The portions are small and the price was a little steep but they had good quality and I imagine if they have a lot of overhead in waste. I think I had the Newnan roll, Atlanta roll, spicy tuna and one other. All of them were fresh and tasty. My wife and I have a large family and I loved seeing the owners kids sitting quietly watching him work.

The fish wasn’t bad. Considering where I was, Newnan of all places, I thought it would be horrible. To my surprise, it was actually pretty good. I ordered some albacore and the chef informed me that the fish had been frozen, but was very fresh. Not sure how that makes much sense, but it was too cold to really enjoy the flavor. The portions were fairly small, but everything aside from my frozen fish was good.

Pretty good sushi for Newnan, GA. Had the Dragon Roll, Crunch Salmon Roll, 2 bowls of miso(my date is a crazy miso lover), 1 seaweed salad and green gen-maicha tea(in a cute pot) for total of $ 36 pre-tax. A bit pricey compared to what you can get in So Cal. but still, you’re in Newnan. :) Parking is weird and hard to find. it’s right next to a children playground area… we just parked at the hotel next door.

I was a little wary about a sushi joint with no cars in the parking lot in a Friday night except one in the back on jacks. A restaurant surrounded by children’s playground equipment. But I’ll eat sushi anywhere. The fellow who runs the restaurant is a genuinely warm and friendly person who runs a nice restaurant. Because we were a little concerned about the freshness of fish in such an out-of-the-way and unvisited location we stuck to the cooked selections. The food was delicious as good sushi should be. The rice was perfect and the rolls were just right. What was most remarkable was the sauce. Usually when you order a special roll somewhere there is likely to be some sort of unfortunate sauce on the roll. I asked why his sauce was so good, and the owner took 10 minutes to explain the masterful process of how he makes his sauce. He should sell this sauce to the finest sushi restaurants in America. I’ve been to some of the very best but this guy in little Newnan Georgia has them beat. If you’re in Newnan Sushi Pronto is a good bet for a yummy meal prepared by a hospitable and warm host.

Found this wonderful place. It is the best sushi by far that we have ran across between Columbus and Atlanta. Service was fast and the food fresh.
