I always get the tacos carnitas here. They really do have my favorite — the meat is always very tender and flavorful. I really love the tomatillo salsa that comes with it. My significant other gets something different each time we come, and usually is pleased. The owner is nice, and the service is okay, but never amazing. They also make a pretty decent margarita.

I would give a zero if I could!!! We went a month ago and they tried to charge my daughter 4.50 to add lettuce to the top of her fajita Nachos when she asked them to swap lettuce for the onions and peppers! Last night we tried to give them a 2^nd chance and it was by far worse than the 1^st. They brought us the wrong drinks, we spoke to the «so called» manager who, instead of making it right, added stuff to our bill. When we asked for our original bill back they called the police. People we didn’t even know stayed to tell the police that the restaurant was at fault. After the police left, we sat and talked to the nice people who stayed to witness for a bit. Then the next thing we know the manager came and stood over my daughter running her mouth at my daughter until she signed the credit card receipt. After my daughter handed the manager the signed receipt she got in my daughters face, she called my daughter a bitch, and when my daughter had had enough verbal abuse and went to leave the manager shoved my daughter and when the other workers told the manager to stop because she was pregnant she said, «I don’t care that I’m pregnant!» As a nurse and a teacher, I was appalled at her actions from beginning to end, but ESPECIALLY after she said that! I feel so sorry for her baby!!!
If you do decide to take your chances with eating at this restaurant be sure to take a video recorder and keep it on the whole time!!!

Read the reviews before trying this place because it will be the biggest mistake of your life if you choose to eat here. I rated 1 star because you’re not able to rate a NO star. I recently visited this classless establishment in the hopes of giving it a THIRD chance, as the second visit was horrendous! This visit I chose not to eat, but instead enjoyed the company of my co-​workers. The lack of customer service that my co-​workers received was the lowest of lows. Re-​filled drinks… never took place, re-​filled basket of chips… never took place, greeting at the door… ha ha ha or lack there of. Shocking enough, the food actually looked fresh and appetizing, but that doesn’t make up for the piss poor customer service. The only similarities with the second and third visit was I had the same waitress. I wouldn’t say she’s the entire issue with eating at this restaurant, but if she wasn’t there they’d be taking a step in the right direction.

Wow where do I start. this place is just god awful. You walk in the door and you already know you’ve made the biggest mistake of your life. There’s only 3 people working, always. So you walk on the door and just seat yourself since the man at the front desk doesn’t acknowledge your existence. Then you take a seat and chips hit the table promtly, but if it’s a big group don’t eat to fast because it’s the only basket you’re gonna get. So about the time you’ve eaten all your chips and think you’ve been forgotten, the one waitress who likes to use the «we’re short handed» excuse every time she comes to the table shows up to get your drink and food orders. She also brings the drinks abruptly but hope you’re not thirsty cause that one glass of ice cold coca cola that just cost you $ 2.50 is the only one you’re gonna get. So now comes the waiting game. The food hits your table and you stare at it because you think with the amount of time you waited, Gordon Ramsey was in the back whipping you up your burrito but instead it looks like it was freshly thawed and microwaved. So you finish eating, not a soul has come to your table or even looked in you direction. You think you’ve been forgotten again so you get up to go pay, but don’t worry. They see you pulling out your wallet they are more than happy to take your money and watch the door hit you on the way out.

Positively Newnan’s best Mexican food. Not much atmosphere, but reasonable food and drink prices. Eager to please wait staff.

Great find. Food was very good. Not you basic Mexican place. Cold beer. We will be back.

If you want just o k Mexican food with a side of rude and a refusal to honor any of their own coupons (always a technically it seems), this would seem to be your place. Tried twice, never again

Foods terrible. I have given it multiple tries, hoping it will get better. Servers mess up orders all the time. Go for the Texas margarita. Only thing worth the money.

Re: the Chylacas at 3154 Hwy 34 East — in the Kroger center at Thomas Crossroads.
Stale and greasy atmosphere. No one greeted us @ the door. After someone tossed menus on our table, we left 4 LaHacienda, a MUCH better place just up the road in PTC.
News flash, Chy-​LACK-​a: you are not the only Mexican place in the area. Customers work for their money & expect the SERVICE industry to do so, too.
