Americas Best Value Inn

I would give this hotel negative star’s if I could. The owner got into a argument over a pillow last night. We extended our checkout time till 11:30 because that’s all they will allow. Then the house keeper showed up and banged on our door prior to 11 am and with the «do not disturb» sign on the door. The male house keeper processed to argue with my cousin and I. He raised his voice and screamed at us to basically get out of the room or they will charge me an extra $ 20.it’s only 10:46 at this point where he’s actually raising his voice to scream at 2 women. Let’s just say we left soon after that and would never never never never never stay here again!

Okay it is cheap.. But the owners are also cheap and you get the run around with answers. Need more towels. in the morning. go back in the morning. in the evening. No hairdryer in the room. tough luck. Pool never open. Ran out of waffle batter at breakfast. no more. breakfast is now over.
seriously. there are more cheap places all around. forget this one. No toilet paper in the bathrooms in the lobby. seriously that cheap.

The room is decent for the price. Clean room and the bed is comfortable. The person at the front desk however was rude. We got here at noon and she would not let us check in till after 2pm. The Hotel did not look busy. We came back at 2:30pm her attitude still didn’t change. If we didn’t already pay for the room through price line we would not had stayed. We were going to get the room for a week but after the front desk agent’s rudeness, we only stayed the night.

Clean. Nice staff. Near a huddle house and a Waffle House. Breakfast provided was decent though, minus the coffee (taste like crap) Really good for the price. I’m rating it 4 because for the price you can’t expect much more. Kids also enjoyed the hotel pool.

Typically, I don’t write reviews, I only look them up instead. However, this time it’s necessary. My daughter, two grandsons and I arrived at the motel around 10:30 pm with reservations. The room was HOT due to the air conditioner not being already on and several of the lights were not working. I noticed the phone wasn’t working so I went to look behind the night stand and noticed the phone cord was unplugged. When I reached back behind the nightstand to plug it up a big spider (which looked like a brown recluse) was sitting next to the phone. My daughter grabbed one of plastic cups with tissue paper. I knocked it in the cup when she placed the other plastic cup on top. I immediately took it to the office and requested another room. I’ve given this review two stars because they were accommodating in that respect. In both rooms the TVs were old and hard to change the channels. The room was a great price, but you get far less than what you pay for. I wished I had stopped to take a pic of the spider before taking it to the front desk.

This was a good room at a decent price. No frills, but I wasn’t paying for them, either. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive alternative to Columbus or Atlanta, I suggest this as an option.
