HUD-​1 requests do get responded to immediately, within minutes! Max would be an hour, but, your request will never get unacknowledged. With short sales dominating our market today, the escrow company who helped you on your last regular transaction might not be well equipped with negotiation skills and the art of diplomacy, as short sales require these skills, even with escrow officers, as they are the last frontier if anything goes awry with the HUD, demand etc. You will get all your escrow fee’s worth with this company.
