Mountain View Tire & Auto Service

I paid to have my tires rotated and balanced plus I paid for a oil service. The service was done timely, however, upon leaving this service center my car would shake when I would reach speeds over 50mph. I filed a BBB complaint after making every effort and communicating with this stores manager to get a refund for the service that I paid for, but that was not how they handled it. I even got a receipt, (as requested) from the company that did my balancing after this company charged me for it and did not do it. This company has not only not refunded my money they have not responded to the BBB complaint and the issue is still unresolved. If i were you I would not want anyone performing service on my vehicle that will not take care of the issues they create through improper work or not performing the work at all. Just a heads up, I do not enjoy writing negative reviews about a company, and I understand shit happens, but not taking care of it and avoiding the customer is unacceptable. Good Luck if they do not perform perfectly.

One of the best tire shops I’ve ever been to. I had a flat tire, they didn’t have the tire I needed but they put the spare tire for me even tough I didn’t have the proper equipment to do it they found a way to do it. Eduardo helped me. Free of charge.

Add oil change done there for the 999 coupon big mistake my car holds six quarts of oil the coupon was for 5 they never charged me for the extra quart of oil should have thought about that first less than a thousand miles put on the car the car was 2 quarts low and I do not have any leaks at all on this car will never go there again

Christmas Eve… Was running super late & on top of all the frustration I had to deal with a flat tire… I went there… The manager «Art» & his assistant «edwardo» right on the spot welcomed me with warm kind words, offered me a seat & in less than 10 mins… Voila… My car was done & ready… But the surprise was… Art offered me that Eve a free service! Honest guys I’m speechless about this place & all the stuff! U saved my life… U have my business forever:))))

Great customer service!
We were traveling from out of the area on a Sunday afternoon when our cars low coolant light came on. Upon inspection I found a huge rupture in my radiator hose. Joe Velasquez, Eduardo, and Alan at mountain view tire and auto saved the day. They were friendly and courteous, and completed the repair very quickly so we could get back on the road. I wish the auto repair shops in my town had the kind of customer service I experienced here! Thank you guys so much.

Second time I’ve had to use their services.
First time they gave me the best price around on a tire.
This time, flat tire, wife takes it in, they let her know it’s only a nail & can do a simple repair, no need for a new tire.
As always, friendly & wonderful service.

I have been to this tire store about four times and have been impressed each time with their customer service and attentiveness. I bought one tire from them about a year ago and when I needed another tire about a month ago they matched the previous price without issue ($ 40 cheaper than the dealership!). On another occasion they spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why my tire was leaking (which turned out to be the valve stem) and then repaired it (put in a new valve stem) without charging me, even though I didn’t buy that tire from them. I brought my car in again today because I had something stuck in one of my tires and even though they were extremely busy they stopped what they were doing and pulled the object out and checked for a leak (luckily there wasn’t one). As a women I always take notice of a mechanic shop that has good customer service and doesn’t talk down to me (or try to screw me over) because of my gender.

So here’s my story,
I go in and wait a few minutes just to talk to a guy. I tell the guy that I have been going to a place in Simi Valley for basically the lifetime of all my vehicles and due to time and work location I figured I try this place. So I asked for a timeframe to get an alignment check and he tells me an hour … I then asked him again how long will the total job take and he says approximately two hours … So im like ok well I then asked him if there is more seats in the lobby because there was none available… He then tells me that’s all that’s available … So I basically have nowhere to sit and he doesn’t even try to accommodate me… At this point I am already kind of iffy about this place in general.
So this is where I decide to leave… He tells me it’s going to be almost $ 40 just for a check on alignment. That’s not to say that if alignment is not needed I basically lose $ 40. Apparently this whole time at my original spot they were not charging me for alignment checks which is fine. But when I tell him this he basically says I don’t know what to tell you that’s what we charge.
I wasn’t even asking for a discount or anything. It was just a question and as soon as I asked him that, he basically just turned his back to me.
I rate this place on the lobby, pricing, and customer service
I mean, why does the guy I am talking to have to pick up the phone every single call and interrupt me every single time. There was a guy next to him that wasn’t doing anything but processing documentation. That guy should have picked up the phone for him and realized there was a customer right in front of him.

Following up on my review from 4÷6÷2015. I will give Mountain View some additional stars. After posting my review, the corporate office did take a look at the review, followed up with the location, and was not happy with how my situation was handled either. They took the extra effort to determine who I was from the information posted and to contact me to offer to make the situation right and to make sure that this did not happen in the future.
I did not take them up on the offer, but felt reassured that this was not a broader issue with Mountain View.

Thank you to Mountain View Tires for excellent service. A tire I purchased at the Newhall store became flat when I was in Granada Hills. A mechanic at a nearby shop helped me by putting on my spare. I was unsure whether the problem would be covered by a warranty or Roadside Hazard service I had purchased. When I called the Lyons store, they were so courteous. They arranged for me to go to the Mountain View Tires in Granada Hills, which was just down the road from where I had pulled over. The Lyons store made sure GH had a replacement tire of the exact kind in stock before sending me there. The manager was ready for me when I arrived and I was on my way with a new tire in no time.

Ray is the only one I trust. He has been there for as long as i can remember, let’s say six years. Keep killing it, ray!

The guys fit me in when I was crunched for time an gave me excellent service! Gilbert and his crew were super nice and did a great job taking care of my vehicle. I will definitely be back here for any sort of vehicle service.

Here’s a great place for great customer service and expert work.
On March 3 2015 girlfriend’s attending a meeting just up the road when her 2011 Cruze decides one of the tires are really low. Knowing that the tires are filled with gas (Nitrogen) she calls me. I drive up, trade cars and find this place on my Garmin. So I take it to them and the system said it’s the right front when in fact there’s a nail in the right rear.
The gentlemen behind the counter who’s name escapes me but receipt says Englebert recognizes that the system needed to be calibrated and once the tire is repaired, he teaches his mechanic how to do it. All this in less then a half hour and for only $ 25.45!
It doesn’t get much better then that. I recommend you take your car to these folks with everything you got because they will fix it and not charge you an arm and a leg.
