Exceeded our expectations. For $ 20.00 you will have so much fun and parking is worry free with their wide parking lot and complimentary shuttle service. It has a lot to offer with the shows that involves, gunslinging, rope skills and western music. Vendors have a lot to offer for the cowboy and cowgirl in you. Plus, they don’t serve alcohol, police is everywhere and you get tons of free stuff. Great family fun! It’s a «Go»!

I’ve been calling and emailing for days per their website instructions to try and book a studio tour. No response. Unprofessional.

I come here once a year with my family for their annual Cowboy Festival. My dad’s super into Cowboys and the Old West. If you or anyone you know likes that kind of stuff, then this is the perfect place. Once you step onto the premises, it’s like you just went back in time… if you ignore the Porto-Pottys and occasional ATM. The Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio has been used in many different films and television shows, most recently being seen in Django Unchained. So this place isn’t just for fans of the Old West but also for fans of cinema and television. The Cowboy Festival I mentioned earlier is really cute. People go dressed up in period clothing while various types of vendors sell one of a kind items. Get hungry along the way? There’s a bunch of food(and alcohol) to choose from. Overall, this place is an absolute eperience. I know I enjoy it.

Went to the Cowboy Festival(3rd time) and had a great time. If you like old westerns, it’s a must see. if not, don’t bother.

Unfortunately the staff at this ranch are as UNPROFESSIONAL as they come. I have met them personally and it is unfortunate that I wasted my time and gas just to see their OVERRATED western town. I recommend never going there again, your better off making the trip to Barstow to see their western ranches. I will never go back again.

I went here for Santa Clarita’s annual Cowboy Festival. It’s a pretty cool place. I hear that the HBO show Deadwood used their sets. They had a little museum in one of the sound stages with a lot of stuff from the movies and shows they’ve shot there: cars, tanks, I believe stuff from The Incredible Hulk, and memorabilia circling around their apparent claim to fame, Gene Autry. I was focused more on the barbecued food, stuff for sale and the entertainment stages while I was there, but you do have to admire the cool buildings on their«Main Street»… a saloon, a sheriff’s office with jail cell, shops, etc. I don’t know if the ranch is open to the public at other times during the year. They have pictures and more information on their website(although some of it’s kind of outdated).
