We love staying at Hampton’s but this year a couple of favs were too highly priced with no military /government contractor discounts so we had to look elsewhere. So thrilled that we found this treasure! Wow! Awesome staff! Welcomed like we were family –no better! Freshly baked yummy cookies & freshly made coffee. Room nicely stocked with toiletries(more than others). Even the shower curtain was hanging in a decorative way. Cute touch! Not much in the town but we always eat in New Philadelphia anyway. Breakfast area is smaller than normal but there was more food & far better quality! Hope the discount stays!

I stayed there last night on a business trip. This is a smaller Hampton with 3 floors and about 70 rooms. Therefore it also has a small lobby and small breakfast area. Nothing wrong with small… I am just being descriptive here. There is also an indoor pool. Parking is adequate along with the location. Check in was easy and my room nice. AC worked well and bathroom was large enough. Towels were a little thin for some reason. Breakfast was very good with a scrambled egg with steak pieces added which is unusual and I stay at many Hamptons’. Breakfast was very good. I am giving a 3 because this property is what I expect of a Hampton and that is a compliment. You should stay here. It is probably the nixes hotel in town. One negative was my rate of $ 139 per night before taxes. I think that is high for this area. I pay that rate in larger metro areas. I guess because of the lack of competition they can get away with that. Therefore I don’t consider this property a value.

What a wonderful, attractive and much needed jewel to find in the middle of nowhere as we were driving from SE Pennsylvania to Canton where we planned to visit the First Ladies National Historic Site. I have stayed at plenty of Hampton Inns over the years, I think of them as one of my preferred hotels while traveling for business or family fun, and this one sets the standard for them all if you ask me. Can’t say for sure if this was a new property or just a remodeled one, but the lobby was impressive. Not luxury hotel impressive, but middle tier comfort impressive. Well designed, attractively laid out, crisply decorated. Made you fell welcome. Our room made me sorry we weren’t going to do any more than an overnight stay. It was comfortable, felt like the comfort of home you get with slightly higher end hotels, but had the amenities that those hotels make you pay for. Bedding was crisp and fresh(I could have done without the post it that the sheets had been cleaned just for me, I EXPECT you to do that), yet cozy and comfortable. I had a GREAT night’s sleep. We had hoped to enjoy the pool, but we arrived too late for this family to take advantage of it, though it looked like it would have been fun enough. Breakfast was a treat, and the woman who was the attendant at breakfast was bright and cheery, conversational without being overly chatty. My kids loved the high bar to eat breakfast, and though not the amazing breakfast you might get for a fee at a higher end chain, it was better than the cold cereal«free» breakfasts that the utility hotels that we use when all we need is a place to sleep. The new and comfortable lobby where breakfast was served made the experience positive too. Sure wish I could find this quality with ever Hampton Inn I stay at. This is truly the top end of the Hampton’s I have stayed at over the many years of professional traveling, and I am just sad that it is in a location that I can’t see making it back too anytime soon. Wonderful property, wonderful overnight stay.

This hotel was a welcome oasis in the middle of nowhere. I stayed here this week for a business trip and had a wonderful experience. I entered the hotel to find Mardi Gras balloons, chocolate, and snacks everywhere. The hotel staff informed us that the hotel recently redid its reception area, and this party was to celebrate its completion. Works for me! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. In the evening, the staff put out a spread of apples, sodas and water, chips and salsa, pizza, and chocolate chip cookies. The staff also kept the coffee, hot chocolate, and tea selection out all day. In the morning, the breakfast area was fully stocked with make-your-own-waffles, bagels and English muffins, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereal, oatmeal, omelettes, and bacon. Everything was a little stale, since I don’t think the hotel sees enough traffic through there to justify such a large spread, but free food is free food – am I right? The room was clean and, since it faced wooded area, very quiet. The only complaint is that the Hampton Inn does not provide conditioner in their bath supplies. Also, the Post-Its saying something along the lines of «We cleaned the sheets just for you» doesn’t make me think any higher of this chain – Aren’t you supposed to clean the sheets? Do you want an award for doing the expected? Nonetheless, the room was very comfortable and had everything I needed: coffeemaker, fridge, desk, comfy bed, microwave, and TV. Although my room was quiet, my colleague’s room faced the road and she said it was a little noisy on that side – so maybe ask for a room in the back of the building. The toilet in her room kept running and, when the staff could not fix the problem, quickly moved her to the room next door. Things happen in a hotel, but it’s always great when the staff is able and willing to rectify the situation in a prompt manner.

All the good stuff you’d expect from a Hampton. Plus, the friendliest, most helpful hotel staff anywhere.
