Fast, efficient and reliable coffee. I wish there was a drive through but its not a deal breaker for me.

The lady that took my order was extremely rude. The drink that she made was extremely tasteless and horrible. Wouldn’t be surprised if she spit in it. Ruined my whole morning.

Sorry to tell. Coffee are bitter most times. Espresso are not enough to warm. Bathroom and shop were dirty. And please do not use grass cleaner when customer are sit and enjoin the foods.

I really like this store and the staff I should preface this by stating that I love Starbucks. Their coffee is the only coffee worth paying for anywhere. People complain about their coffee but only because they are used to drinking terrible café crud. Granted, some Starbucks blends are less good than others, but they always have Pike available. That said, I especially like this location and go there frequently since moving to the neighborhood. It has a nice, local feel with a great, pleasant staff that are always very friendly and willing to go our of their way to satisfy. One, possibly the manager, even called around to other stores to get me some Tazo after they ran out of the last bag and wouldn’t be getting more due to the Teavanna purchase. This store is a nice place to hang out and read or study or whatever you want to do in a casual, quiet(weekdays) and welcoming setting. They have a great atmosphere with several nice lounge style chairs.

Nice layout but they messed up the order and then the drink. The guy didn’t know how to apply their daily buy one get one deal, and then when I got the drink it wasn’t at all what I had ordered. He had put it in wrong and wrote it down wrong all along. Barista remade it, but it was awful. Having already spent too much time waiting… I didn’t bother asking to remake the drink. Not sure I would return to this location for my favorite drink.

This location is a very nice one, great ambiance and good products. I think a lot of people are noticing the burnt coffee taste lately, Charbucks as one Unilocaler noted, and I hope Starbucks notices too. It’s definitely a new thing with them and I think the roaster got carried away on a big batch … or something. Overall experience though is good. The strip mall feel is hard to shake and that takes away from the outside seating — but inside is cool.

Charbucks? Oh, cause the coffee’s always burnt; now I get it. I don’t know if I am being harsh but I’ve received burnt coffee roughly 1⁄3 times I visit any Starbucks location. The customer service was solid, the two baristas seemed friendly, both bearing smiles.

Friendly bunch of peeps staffing here. Best Starbucks in bellevue. Hands down. Everything is always great but here it is just a little more special

There aren’t a lot of coffee shops or cafes in Newcastle. Just this starbucks, and another place across the street. So this Starbucks is always busy, and has the feel of a small town neighbourhood coffee shop. Could be a bit cleaner, only about average by Starbucks’ standards, but it is constantly busy from the early morning until closing. There seems to be a lot of regulars as they know the staff well. The service is always exceptional.

Typical Starbucks in a strip mall. Easy place to meet someone — lots of seating. Staff and drinks are your usual Starbucks. Not my first choice for a Starbucks or a meeting place but works in a pinch.

I stopped going to charbucks a year ago, thanks to burnt coffee, burnt expresso, burnt bitter latte… I tried all. Wanted to give another try today, no change… burnt coffee as usual… may be good for the vanilla whipped cream chocolate types. not for coffee people…

I love Starbucks, but this is my favorite location out of all of the Starbucks. The manager, Michelle, knows many of the customers by name. It is kind of a neighborhood gathering place, where you see many of the same faces every day. I love the comfy leather chairs, I love that the employees know which drink I like, and I love the great service. The only problem with this place is that sometimes the line gets so long that it is almost out the door. But, this is only because this is such a popular place to go because of the great service!

Now I don’t usually write up Starbucks locations, because they are so ubiquitous and homogeneous – that would be like writing a review of a post office. But this is my local Starbucks. And, this store is worth noting for its problems. On the plus side, Starbucks has comfy leather chairs, free newspapers and it is one of the only places in town to meet friends(see note below). The staff is generally nicer and more professional than you find at most independent Seattle cafes, which are famously pretentious. But they have gotten our drink orders wrong too many times. One time a drink we ordered and paid for never came. It gets incredibly busy on Saturday mornings. Somehow they have not figured out how to staff enough people to avoid the lines out the door. There are sometimes 15 or 20 people in line. I have had to wait over ten minutes for a drink to be made. This is all very disappointing. On a random note, last year my wife and I both got horribly, violently ill after getting lattes at this location.(Of course we can’t prove it was Starbucks’ fault.) I have a couple general complaints against Starbucks, which I will air out here since I’m already going negative on this location. $ 6.30 for a latte and coffee cake?!? For that kind of scratch, at least you could provide free Wi-Fi. Also, I think they changed the formula for the pumpkin spice lattes and they are not as good as they used to be. Waaah. This used to be the only«café» option in Newcastle. Fortunately, the new chocolate shop(Sweet Decadence) makes very good espresso and has put in lots of comfortable seating. My advice is to skip Starbucks and cross the street.
