As a small business owner with a background in business I thought, «I don’t need anyone to manage my books, I can totally handle this.» I sure how to eat those words! I found myself busy running the business and not wanting to spend my free time doing my books. I purchased QuickBooks and again totally thought I would do my own books. I spent less than 5 minutes on QuickBooks when I realized my time would be better spent doing other things and paying a professional to do my books. Enter Jeff with Anderson Accounting.
My main concerns with hiring someone to do my accounting and books were making sure they knew what they were doing, were looking out for my best interest as a business owner without doing anything shady (don’t want to be in trouble with the IRS) and were trustworthy. Jeff came highly recommended so I met with him for an initial consultation. I thought maybe my business would be too small for him but soon realized he could be a big help for even my small business.
He was able to handle everything my business needed and get my books in order and update my QuickBooks. Thank God there are people like him who actually enjoy boxes of receipts and invoices and entering things into QuickBooks because I can’t stand it!
He was very knowledgeable when it came to what deductions I could take and pointed out things that I had not accounted for.
