why is it everytime I buy something the price is always different, most of the time its higher !!! sign on bird seed $ 10. and change lowered to $ 6.99. I buy two 20 lb bags and the price is over $ 20.00. I questioned the price and they ran over to where I got the bags and came back and said $ 6.99 for a 10 lb bag. there were no 10 lb bags only 20 lb

I only go here when I absolutely have too. Customer service is horrible. Always have to wait for long periods of time to checkout. Twice now their computers crashed so I was unable to buy my stuff. Avoid this store at all cost!

Most departments are well stocked. Prices are high. Electronics is a joke. Half the shelves are empty and unless you have an iPhone don’t even think of trying to buy any kind of accessories for your phone. Seriously charger case screen protector nothing. And the only employee I’ve seen in the store was someone at the register.

This is my favourite KMart location. The store is clean and well organized, and they have some great deals. I had to make a return today, and the process was quick and painless.

I fantasize that this store will close and another discount department store will rent the space. Until then, I only go there when I am desperate. Unfortunately, in Newburyport, it is our only option for a discount department store offering housewares and such — we don’t even have a dollar sore any longer. So if you need something, your only option is at least a 10 – 15 minute ride away. In a pinch, this is it.
This summer, I ran in to get some plant food and while I was there, I picked up some pepper plants. They were each tagged individually and so I got two red and two yellow. Imagine my shock when they produced fruit and I had two HOT, one banana and one green. I mentioned it to one of the people who works in that department and she said that one of the kids who was annoyed at being assigned out there switched the tags «as a joke».
The store is dirty and disorganized, the merchandise is tired and stale, and the staff at the registers always seem to be new, inexperienced, and very slow. The registers themselves are also a problem. Twice in the last year, they froze up in the middle of the transaction and the harried clerk had to move to another register. As for sales associates in the store itself, good luck if you can find one. About the only place to get help is the service desk and they staff are unfriendly and usually not very helpful.
Every time I go there, I say never again. Unfortunately, they stay in business because they truly have no local competition.

I dont know why I keep going in here. They send me ads for stuff that they never have.

Don’t go to this store. The customer service is terrible… the representatives are surly and unhelpful. The store is dirty and nothing is ever in stock. Just a terrible experience all around. Avoid this place at all costs.

Last week I purchased a vacumn cleaner at Kmart and noticed that the lid was open, the alarm went off as I went through the door but ”The Superviser” waved me on out. When I got home and opened the box I found several empty boxes stuffed inside, total $ 125.00 of stolen items. I went back to Kmart today and the store was empty including sales people ! When I ask for help a very rude and sarcastic ”Superviser” on the front desk shouted for the only check out person to shut down and help me. I asked him what was going on and he said everyone quit because of ”The superviser”. There were 3 sales people working at that store, next week there may only be ”The Superviser” !!! Time to close the doors.

I couldn’t find what I was looking for and I was kind of overwhelmed in the store. That is a BIG factor for me, I need to walk into a store and not feel absolutely lost and miserable. But this store was a bit over powering and they didn’t have what I was looking for. No one said «hi» to me either :(

There is nothing worse than going to this store. The staff is slow and unfriendly. The store is always a mess and they never have what I need. Just save your time and go to Walmart.
