Love Gino’s. Everyone is extremely friendly and always accommodating. We get dinner to go about once a week. The Lobster Ravioli is good, but the Fettuccine Alfredo is excellent. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the area.

The first reason I wanted to try Gino’s is because the owners seemed very involved in not only the food but connecting to the customers. That speaks a lot about the heart of the place. Next, the star rating. So, I ordered their Pesto Fettucine and added chicken. We also ordered the Sausages and peppers. Both had great balanced flavor! It didn’t seem like a chain restaurant recipe, the authenticity of their food was obvious to me. The plain bread was so good! If you don’t have to add any dip or butter to a bread, you know it’s great.

Hadn’t been here in about two years after mediocre experience. Have to say that this visit was outstanding and the best Caesar salad. Very authentic and Gino is very warm; seems to really enjoy interacting with customers. Works very hard to provide great experience with customers as he continually came out of the kitchen to make sure customers were pleased.

If you want authentic Italian, then this is your place! Gino and his wife are the owners and they are just lovely. The atmosphere is great and the wait staff is extremely nice and efficient. Chantal knew all of her specials and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was fantastic, the shrimp scampi is not to be missed! And the tiramisu is possibly the best I’ve ever had! This will be one of my regular places from here on out.

Fist time here tonight with my wife in new neighborhood. Oh my, this place is fantastic. I’m a foodie having lived in Boston with the North End places and traveling to Milan recently for business. Gino and his wife are fantastic and the food is the best. Love it here. Highly, highly recommend.

I’m kind of a food snob sometimes, and I don’t understand why the 3 star rating for this place! The Spaghetti Bolognese was wonderful. I like the ambiance, The owner and head chef Gino is so silly! He came by our table when we said that we were too full for dessert and put his hands on his belly to mimic or fullness, I thought it was very silly. This place was so fabulous, I’m coming back sometime when I return to this valley.

Had a small dinner here with my husband because we had a late lunch. So I only had a salad(the bistro) and husband had an app(clams). Everything was so fresh and good, we were thoroughly impressed and surprised. Will definitely come back and try more, when more hungry. Pinot grigio by the glass was good too. Service great food great, ambiance nice for a mini mall. Booths, low lighting, walls with crown molding and burgundy paint, made it feel cozy. Bread is good!!!

Beautiful family run restaurant with Gino as both chef and host and a fabulous menu of food and wine. Gino’s the real deal and he will speak in his genuine Italian accent to patrons at every table. You will love it.

You completely feel the family owned restaurant ambiance and it’s genuine. I had the lasagna and it was truly delicious but I will be back for the atmosphere. I came alone and had a second glass of wine to drink it in, along with the wine.

We had a private dinner hosted by our new in-laws at Gino’s and Big Gino and Little Gino and Mrs Gino were so accommodating! Everything was perfect! The food quality and amount was just right. We will become regulars here for sure! What a great place.

Gino’s is a mom and pop place, which is great because Gino is an amazing cook and Bella, well she does it all. You feel like family when you go there. Gino and Bella are always walking around checking in and talking with everyone. The food is AMAZING! The Salmon, Lasagne, Chicken Rollato and Pasta with Tomato & Basil is just to name a few awesome dishes. Everything is amazing! We were there on Valentines day we a group of sixteen, the service and the food was outstanding.

My wife and I dined here after arriving at the Marriott. What a great dinner, wine paring and conversation with the owner. We were made to feel as if we were one of the family. The food was amazing. Thanks so much.

I’ve never felt so ripped off in my life. My feelings are completely hurt after eating here. Over priced is an understatement for this farce. Pasta sauce was out of a can. The veal chop was portioned for a 5 year old girl, and was completely bland. The salad looked like it had just been brought in from McDonalds. My wife’s pasta looked like it had tomato and water sauce on it. Don’t waste your money or time here, you will be more satisfied at Chilis or even Subway! Dominos is more Italian than this place.

Gino’s hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to. We were in the area running errands and got hungy. Pulled in Chillies and it was too crowded, pull into the parking by Cronies and was going to settle for that. Low and behold we looked nextdoor and saw Gino’s so glad we did. Our entire experience from the food and wine to socializing with the owner/chef Gino and his wife Bella and daughter was AMAZING. They truly love what they do. Also had great service by Diane? Only blonde in there she was friendly and sweet. The food, awe… the food was unbelievable. My husband doesn’t even like Italian or so he thought until Gino’s. We are already talking about going back and cant wait for one of their wine parties. A Big Thank You To Gino and The Entire Famly, WOW!

My Cousin is a big fan of Gino’s and took us to your cozy little neighborhood restaurant and we had an outstanding meal. We are Italian, so I’m not easy to please when it come to REAL Italian dining and your food is delicious. This is the second time I have been there and will definitely be back on a regular basis. Here is a brief summary of what we had on Sunday night, started with great fresh crunchy hot bread with a delicious red sauce, Calamari Fritti, Caesar Salad, Manicotti Pasta stuffed with fresh ricotta and spinach, special dish with veal, and outstanding desserts. Trust me I’m not chubby for nothing, we know good food and this was excellent! This is a true Mom & Pop restaurant, no pretense, just great Italian food. Wake up Newbury Park, we have a little gem here and this place should have customers standing in line to get in.

As promised, my(now) wife and I had our reception here. It was amazing. Gino and his wife, Bella, gave us everything we could ever hope for. The food was amazing at incredibly reasonable prices and the beer and wine didn’t stop coming. They made our wedding perfect. When I wrote out the check, I filled it out incorrectly. I was so embarassed when Gino called me I left immediately to give him a new one. Not only was he grateful for me doing the absolute minimum(driving out to fix my mistake), he bought me a beer! Gino and his family are the nicest people you will ever meet. This might be the last place in the LA area where you can sit down for an amazing dinner and the chef/owner will personally come out to make sure it was everything you expected. We can’t wait to come back for our one year anniversary. I hope that when Gino and Bella finally retire, their family will continue the fantastic legacy they’ve started.

Definitely a family run place catering to locals who drink only red wine. Getting a bottle of white wine was quite a project — an Australian wine appeared left over from some deal he got years back. «I’m the only one who drinks this» the owner told us. My veal chop special was excellent. The vegetables were very overcooked like in a Midwest coffee shop. After 7pm midweek they didn’t have much business, and the few other occupied tables all seemed to be friends of the owner who were racking up the freebies left and right. I think we were the only patrons who didn’t get free dessert. Worth another visit, but no rush.

I wasn’t even aware this place existed, but a friend chose Gino’s for dinner for his birthday. When we arrived(on a Wednesday evening) it was pretty empty, but filled up a bit. The proprietor(Gino, I presume) was hilarious. I mostly didn’t understand anything that he said. The food was solid. I normally wouldn’t order calamari, but it was really tender. Thd breading was less exciting – too soft? Too heavy? I’m not sure. But overall, it was pretty good. I had the fettuccine with pesto and pine nuts, and it was fine. The house Cabernet($ 24, something from California) was overly sweet. We were there a really long time, and they were completely cool about it, which was nice.
