Great Food and Friendly People! My only problem with this place is that it closes at 3pm on Saturday and 8pm everyday. It is a very small looking place, but with decent seating inside and outside. The people are always very very friendly and welcoming. It has a very casual ambience, and the seating area is a bit cozy. Start with your meal with their warm bread along with herb infused olive and vinaigrette. Order the carrot ginger soup which goes really well with the bread they give as well. They have delicious pastas, sandwiches, wraps and soups. So far I have loved everything I’ve had here. If you are into that, they have decent amount of vegetarian options, and if you like something ask them to make it vegetarian — Hummus wrap minus the meat is a good idea. Thier grilled cheese sandwich with caramelized onions is perfectly cheesy and mildly sweet. Add Avocados to that if you are a fan. The chicken sandwich is also great too. Also I’d say do not miss their fries. Regular fires are usually freshly fried with very nice seasoning, a bit more on the generous side of portion size. Take your pick, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, sweet potato truffle fries — they are all fantastic. All of them served with Ketchup and Chipotle Aioli(ask for extra — it’s good stuff).

I have to admit, it’s the best burger place of the area! I like the bun they used because it’s not too sweet. The burger had an excellent taste! I highly recommend this place.

My boyfriend brought me here for lunch yesterday and I had to write a review. Hidden gem in Newbury Park! Don’t judge a book by its cover. Quite delicious food! I had the French Burger with gluten free bread. The truffle fries are very yummy. Can’t wait to try more menu options. Only con is the small strip mall location, and the place is okay looking. Very clean, nice people and yummy food though.

The Fusion Grill in Newbury Park is a terrific little hole-in-the wall that serves great food at great prices. The service has always been both quick and friendly. If you dine-in there is olive oil and balsamic vinegar at your table for the delicious bread plate they bring out to out while you wait. Everything I’ve tried so far has been great — not a single disappointing meal yet. Currently, my favorites are the French Burger and the Penne Arrabiata with Chicken. My only issue is, as many other reviewers have mentioned, it’s a really tiny hole-in-the wall. There are a couple of time during lunch where I’ve been lucky to get a table.(I haven’t had this problem during dinner, however.) Also, it’s in a strip mall recessed from the street so it’s easy to drive right by.(As a tip, it’s between the Premier Inns motel and the fire station.) In addition, the strip mall looks a bit dingy but don’t let that you put you off. So, I highly recommend the Fusion Grill for lunch and dinner.

I happened upon Fusion one day in my quest for tasty soup in the Newbury Park area. It quickly became a favorite spot to meet up with my boyfriend for a lunch date during the work week. Every time you walk into Fusion you’re greeted by the sweetest owners/staff on the planet– they are seriously that level of friendly that makes you forget there’s a line forming behind you because you’re too busy chatting. Even when you’re there during the lunch rush and the line’s to the door, you never wait too long to receive your food, and they always provide fresh bread and delicious oils for dipping. I could probably wax poetic for days about my love of their menu, so I’ll just list a few of the things I’ve experienced at Fusion and now cannot live without: — Minty Lemonade: The most refreshing ice blended drink ever. The mint balances out the lemonade so that it’s never overly sweet– something that seems to be pretty prevalent with most frozen lemonade drinks in my experience. It’s at once a frosty treat aaaand a light beverage to enjoy with your lunch. — Seasoned fries: This seasoning is probably super simple or obvious to some people, but coupled with their dipping sauce, it’s pure magic. Even when I’m on the most dedicated of health kicks, I end up eating half of my boyfriend’s fries. They legitimately reach that lick-your-fingers-in-public level of tastiness. — Hummus wrap: Being that hummus is one of my favorite foods ever, I have no idea how it took me so long to notice this on their menu. So many amazing flavors and textures all wrapped up in a delicious spinach tortilla. Remember stuffing your sandwich with Doritos in high school? This wrap has an added excellence that comes in the form of crunchy pita chips INSIIIIDEIT. — Asian & Fusion wraps: These are the wraps I’d been coveting for months before the Hummus wrap entered my life. The former is basically a more substantial Asian chicken salad in wrap form, and also has a crunch factor via crunchy Asian noodles. The latter is a similar chicken/lettuce/tomato wrap but has the added elements of bacon, chipotle aioli, and incorporated SEASONEDFRIES. Such a beautiful combination. — Soups: I have to rotate between the Carrot Ginger and Potato Leek because they are both equally flavorful and satisfying. Whenever it’s chilly, these soups are the first thing I start to crave. They’re smooth and perfectly seasoned, and are complimented really well by the seasoned fries or fresh bread. I’ve yet to try any pasta dishes since I usually stick to the wraps and soups, but they always look tempting on neighboring plates. My boyfriend also frequently demolishes the burgers and sandwiches with intense satisfaction. I’d recommend Fusion to anyone looking for a consistently fresh and flavorful lunch spot with a friendly atmosphere. :)

After several visits I’m sold and looking forward to trying new items. The soups are great, as well as the ahi sandwich and burgers. Seating is a bit cramped and limited, and it can be hard to get a table during the workweek lunch rush. Great, customer-oriented service. The only downside I’ve found is that the iced tea is from a machine and quite bland.
