A friend referred me to Dr. Lindsey when my little cat was diagnosed with kidney failure. His health just started deteriorating when the doctor saw him for the first time. The weekly visits were very expensive, but I had to give it a try. Apart from acupuncture, she prescribed my cat some natural vitamins which I believe made my cat sick. After about a month and a half into his treatment, his health deteriorated so badly, I took him to his regular veterinary who just saved his life with I.V. and antibiotics that very day. Turned out he had an infection that had little to do with his kidneys, but because of his weakness, it almost killed him. At this time I had spent hundreds of dollars for Dr. Lindsey’s services for my little cat to almost die on me.
This experience gave me doubt, and I decided to have his regular veterinary care for him until he stabilized. Unfortunately he never truly stabilized and he always needed his doses of I.V. to keep him stable.
I wanted to give Dr. Lindsey another try, but at the time I had to decide over paying for my regular veterinary or Dr. Lindsey. I slowly started saving money to afford Dr. Lindsey’s services and I did. At the same time my cat was slowly getting worse.
I contacted Dr. Lindsey once again about a year later and she never responded. I tried deperately pleading for her help on two separate occasions, but she never responded. Unfortunately my little cat died of kidney failure a couple of months later. I wrote to the doctor one last time, letting her know of one of her past patient’s passing, and to let her know I tried desperately to contact her, but she never did and it was so disappointing! She never bothered responding to that email as well. :(

I have been working with Dr. Lindsey several times per month since February, so I wanted to provide an update since my last review. I frequently think to myself how lucky I am to have found Dr. Lindsey to help with my little Piper. It has taken several months to gain control of Piper’s seizures, but I know that the Chinese herbs and acupuncture provided by Dr. L are playing a large role. In addition, Dr. Lindsey has been supportive throughout the process and has always taken the time to respond to my emails.
I strongly encourage you to reach out to Dr. Lindsey if you think your pet might benefit from acupuncture. It is one of the best decisions I have made and I plan to continue to work with Dr. L going forward.

Dr. Wedemeyer has made a very positive difference in well beings of my 2 cats. One of my boys was diagnosed with either IBD or Lymphoma (unknown) and I was at quite a loss as to what course of treatment I would give him. In just two weeks with acupuncture, my cat gained some much needed weight and although he is shy, he is very calm around her. I am also pleased with her accessibility; in between appointments she is quick to answer emails and every time I have asked a question about a food product or supplement, she has thoughtfully looked it up and gotten back to me in a timely matter. I feel lucky that she is covered by our pet insurance and am grateful to have an honest and caring Vet on our side. My boys are in good hands.
