Bagel was really good! Just a little on the small side and not as fluffy as I like. But it tasted wonderful and she loaded it up with lox! Great prices and great service. She was super nice. I will definitely be returning.

In the heart of Newburgh, Lox Stock & Bake looked as good a place as any for us to stop and start off our day. Coffees in hand, we both waited patiently while our«everything» bagels were being prepared. Fast and friendly service, we were on our way before we knew it. As several others have mentioned: it certainly isn’t a place I would sit and linger. Wi-fi is not available for public use, nor is there seating to get comfortable. It’s very much, get-in and get-out. Parking is street only, and traffic can be dangerous if you’re parked on the other side of the street. But if you’re looking for prompt service, and a friendly smile, and don’t particularly mind the rough outer edges — shop local and show some love to Lox Stock & Bake!

A good place to stop for grub. Nice Korean and Puerto Rican couple that run it. Be sure to tip if your heart feels.

This is not the type of café you go to and spend hours on your laptop with a café latte. It is, however, easily the best bagel in the Hudson Valley. The owner is kind and will always remember your preferences. The bagels are chewy and wonderful. The cream cheeses are excellent. Try the salmon cream cheese with huge chunks of good quality lox. And it’s cheap as hell. Well worth a visit.

Pretty good bagels. However if there is more than one customer it may take awhile. They should really invest in a commercial toaster. That toaster is the slowest thing ever.

Pretty decent bagels for a star. Quick service for a star. Back in my last hometown in NY for a star. But, I do have to say, it really is a low-frills establishment. They’re in a relatively convenient spot, haven’t left me impatiently waiting… ever and will hopefully never struggle. They really do hit all the marks for what the place is, which is typical breakfast sandwiches, bagels and coffee, and I did enjoy my infrequent stops here, but it’s not something that most random people would run to get to if it wasn’t along the way or close to work. Support local like this over a Panera. Absolutely worth your business.
