Eddie’s Gourmet Pizza

Called the place at 11:25pm on a Saturday night… suppose to close at midnight. Kid on the phone told me they were not serving anymore… delivery or pick up… no bueno!

Best pizza and meatball subs in the Newburgh area, in my opinion. After trying out a couple of other pizza joints in the Newburgh area (Leo’s and pizza Mia), Eddies is the only place we frequent. Delivery is usually quick and the employees are friendly. They only have a few tables (3 – 4) so I usually just get delivery or order to pick up.

Love Eddies. Pizza is always yummy and their garlic knots are the best around. My co-​workers and I get take out and delivery often from Eddies and its always great. They are very consistent and their Wappingers location is always just as awesome.

So we ordered again today, i am a firm believer in second chances… OMG, I am so glad we did… Pizza was cooked perfectly! We got a plain cheese for the kids, and a pepperoni and mushrooms for the adults and wow were we all thrilled! The Wings and Garlic knots were delicious. We are EGP for life! Thanks Eddies!

Is really good! Plus, they have awesome coupons which makes it inexpensive. Nothing taste better than eating a lot of food for a great price!

Our favorite local pizza! Not as greasy as other pizza places around the area and the sauce and crust have a more gourmet taste. We’ve never had issues with service or pick up. Wings are ok… not as meaty as other places.

By far the best chicken parmesan I’ve ever had! Very friendly staff and delivery is always on point. New favorite pizza spot in my new area.

The service as far as ordering and delivery goes. We paid $ 23 for a large pie with meatball, onions and peppers and a 2ltr of coke. First off the sauce has no flavor at all and that being the most important part it’s a fail. There meatballs were ground meat and not much of it. Bottom line the pizza sucks, dominos has more flavor. We had their pizza before and had a similar experience but our go to pizza spot was closed today since it’s Sunday. I wouldn’t bother with this place!

I was so impressed by the guy Jon (i think) who answered the phone. He was very helpful and professional. I complimented the guy when I hung up on how helpful he was. I ordered a bunch of pies, then the not so smart driver delivered pizzas to a local business for a kids event and a few of the pies were folded over. There was no wax paper down to keep the pizza in place and im sure the guy was speeding. He attempts to fix the pizza with his bare HANDS and my husband catches this, and calls him on it. The guy stares my husband down like he wants to fight him and gives him major attitude. I go to attempt to talk to the driver and he leaves SLAMMING two car doors ignoring me. My pizzas were brought back but 20 – 25 minutes delayed while my other pizza got cold. NO apology NOTHING! Definitely put a damper in my daughters birthday party. The pizza wasn’t that great after all too. My husband was a pizza delivery guy for a few years in his late teens and he knows a good amount about how to handle deliveries. Its a shame that this guy is giving this place a bad name.

I love their pizza. the guy who usually takes orders at the counter is nice and funny. I did get two really sucky pizzas from them friday night, but that’s the only time I’ve been disappointed.
They do take checks, but no credit cards.
