We felt adventurous– so we took a detour on the way to Dundee and stumbled onto this little Jewel. I loved the large dragonfly out front, the grounds were beautiful. And the service was amazing. We got one-​on-​one attention and even got a mini-​tour and details about their production process.

J.K. Carriere is a new breed of winemaker doing innovative and exciting things with light reds, from rose (dry!) to pinot, and also chardonnay, for fans of white.
This winery is fun and not terribly easy, to find, a long drive off the beaten path, but don’t stop when you think you may be lost. Its probably right around the corner. Earnest and super talented winemaker (Jim Prosser) & crew are at the helm of this fantastic winery.
This particular spot is well worth the journey.
