In my opinion, the owner of Chehalem Valley Dance Academy, Kristen Stoller, is unresponsive and unprofessional. She does not respect a paying customers concern over the product delivered or believe in «satisfaction guaranteed». Our experience with our daughter on PC was always chaotic and communications always left us confused and very frustrated. We were always at a loss for words, being that we were the paying customer and leaving our children in the owner’s hands, yet treated as though she was doing us a favor. I must also mention that her relationship with the board of the Booster Club was strained, in my opinion. I observed a lot of deflection and the inability to be accountable. Communications between the owner and us was very minimal throughout the 2013 – 14 year. During the last few weeks of the season, after conversations with other concerned parents, I took it upon myself to ask a few questions we wanted answered and share some concerns we had with Kristen. After five years of loyal support for the Academy my family was dismissed with no attempt at a conversation. She delivered this news via email without ever attempting to discuss any concerns or reasons for dismissing our family from the program. I feel the dismissal arose due to my inquiries and attempts to hold her accountable to the customer and our children.
