This is a wonderfully beautiful winery with great wine! My husband and I felt like we were in a fairy tale when visiting this winery. The owners are some of nicest people I have ever met. One of the guys who worked there took the time to educate us on the grapes they use, their soil and what they value on their winery. He took us on a nice walk through the vineyards. He was just such a sweet man. It is a delightfully small, quint and quiet winery. I almost don’t want to write review because I don’t want to let the secret out but I do want others to get to experience this gem!

I am headed North now on my Wine Geek Tour. To the Willamette Valley in Oregon. A very educated Wine Guru that I know who has told me straight out that he hates California Pinot’s because they just don’t taste the way a Burgundy should taste like. This same Guru says head North my friend. The wines are better. Now I fair to differ in that philosophy, but when it comes to wines from France. Burgundy is an area that I do not have enough experience with. So I go with what I know. California! I have also not gotten enough experience with Pinot’s from the State of Oregon. This wine might make me rethink that or make me feel like I still have a lot to learn… But then again, what Wine Geek doesn’t have a lot to learn always. This wine has scents of cinnamon, and flavors of raspberries and plums. It does have a feel like a few Pinot’s I have tasted from Sonoma or Russian River Valley. Overall it was very satisfying! I will definitely have to look into tasting more wines from this area of Oregon. Cheers!

Fantastic Oregon Wines from a small organic grower. Two times a year, Brick House opens it doors to the public. Thanksgiving weekend and Memorial Day weekends. The wines you will find here are fantastic. They are flavorful, and rich in taste. Brick House has one of my favorite Pinot Noirs from Oregon. The winery itself is worth seeing. It is located in a small«Brick House» overlooking the Willamette Valley. The mist rolling through the vines on a warm spring day makes for an amazing view. They usually have the fireplace going in the fall to keep the cold out.
