If you believe that response I have some ocean front in Arizona for sale.
I also offered to hand them a check in person when the lift arrived at my house but they would not agree to that. I live 3.5 hours away from the installation site and 4 hours to their store. I took 1 day off work as we had delivery scheduled. I sat waiting for half a day and finally call to see what is going on and they said we didn’t get the check so couldn’t deliver it. No phone call or heads up. I burned a day off and 7 hours in the car from Chicago and back for nothing.
A check was sent via my banks online bill pay. Never once have I had a problem. The bank assured me the check went out and I have the digital copy to prove it. He accuses me of not trying to pay or something which just further calls into question the integrity of this operation.
When the installer did arrive he had to sit and wait for an hour because american anchor didn’t give him the right parts for that lift. A truck shows up with the right parts but it’s now too late in the day to do the job.
Buyer beware. If you want a great experience go to a place like Hideaway Boats and call Chuck. That guy was fantastic in working with me where I bought a $ 30k boat with cash on the spot on a weekend. Super flexible, out of his way beyond normal customer service and satisfaction. Post transaction follow ups and even bought me a new prop as he felt the factory one wasn’t best for my boat. If you want to get dicked around with call Tim.
I’m not on here trying to slam a business for no good reason. It was a crummy experience from start to finish and that should be known.
