Pictures are worth a thousand words. And Daniel you did NOT pay me what I asked. Your insurance company paid me for the damage done by YOURGUYS to my walls, molding, doors and cabinets. I have yet to be reimbursed for the damage done to the floors! The only reason i put 1 star is because they wont allow 0. DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY!!! My fiancé and I spent $ 14,500 to have floors installed in our BRANDNEW house and had nothing but issues. First it was IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with Daniel Moreira(the owner of the company) when it was time for him to come back and do the stain and polyurethane. Not only did Daniel NOT call us back he ended up sending 3 guys who we had never met before to «finish» the job. I had chosen a darker stain for our floors and was told that they have done it before and it would come out exactly how I wanted. ITDIDNOT. The floors were completely uneven and they had gotten stain ALL over our moldings, walls, doors and brand new white kitchen cabinets. My fiancé and I tried calling Daniel to let him know how terrible the job was but he still did NOT call us back. Again without speaking to Daniel, he sent his guys to «fix» the floors. They ended up putting two coats of stain on the floor(which in the beginning I was told you should never do) to try an even out the color. The workers came back the next day to apply the polyurethane. We stressed that they should probably let the floors dry more considering they did two coats of stain but was told«it’s a fast drying stain we start right away». Surprise, surprise after applying 3 coats of polyurethane the finish had bubbles, clumps of stain and dirty stuck underneath. Again, no word from Daniel! Workers tried again to fix the issue with 2 more coats of polyurethane(this is now 5 coats all together which is unheard of) they still looked horrible. Finally after not giving the workers the final payment of $ 2,500.00(we had already paid $ 14,500) we get a call from Daniel. «I heard you didn’t want to pay my guys» is the first thing that comes out of his mouth when we pick up. We told Daniel we have NO problem paying however the floors still look terrible. He agrees to come and take a look. After going through the house Daniel agrees that they were not okay and said they would have to be re-sanded, stained and polyurethane. After re-sanding, staining and applying FIVE coats of polyurethane AGAIN they still looked horrible. At that point my Fiancé and I had enough. We called Daniel and told him that he was not allowed back on the property. We ended up having to pay to have the floors fixed by another company. I have been trying to get reimbursed by Daniel for the cost of having to have another company fix his work but he refuses to do so because we «didn’t allow him to fix it». We gave him a chance to fix it once so there was no way we were going to have him re-sand, stain and polyurethane our BRANDNEW floors for a THIRD time. Not only was the finish bad, the installation of the wood floors were not done properly. The floors have gaps all over and planks have holes. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear form ‘Wonderful Flooring’ because this experience has been anything but«Wonderful».

I have been using Wonderful Flooring for 8 years. First time they installed about 200 sq feet of new white oak and sanded and refinished about 500 sq feet to match. It is in my primary residence and still looks even and good 8 years later. About three years ago I started buying homes and renovate and resell. I do full revocations and turn out a high quality turn key product. I have completed and sold 10 properties and working in my 11th from 400K to 800k. Wonderful floors have worked on all properties. In some cases they installed new floors, as much as 2300 sq feet. In others they refinished. Some houses were old pine floors, some were oak. Some I had dark stained, others natural or light stain. In addition they have worked on a dozen other projects that I have worked on for clients. The last one was a 1.6 million dollar house in North Jersey. I have had a number of different Wonderful Floor crews work on my projects. Their pricing is good. Their quality is very good and consistent. They have responded to all concerns and my buyers have been very satisfied. I highly recommend them and plan on continuing to use their services.

I was very disappointed in this company’s services. We had brand new hard wood floors installed that has holes on about every plank of wood. We also had our stairs sanded and stained which look awful. And the best aka«worst» part is that once you move the fridge, it’s as if they stained it and immediately put the fridge back in that area so now there’s a print of the fridge. When I asked Dan about this his response was«but this is under the fridge place?». So because a fridge is there the job can be done poorly? The only perk was the pricing but the outcome of the job is as expected, poor quality. I have reached out to Dan a numerous of times after the floors were completed hoping he would come back to my house to look at the outcome of the job and he has been avoiding me and pushing me off because«he doesn’t have time». A good owner or manager of a company makes time for his customers because the best referrals are word of mouth. Even my father had to intervene because this is unacceptable. My father thinks we should file a civil complaint but being 8 months pregnant I’m not sure if I have the time to but if Dan continues to avoid me I think I’ll have my father file the complaint. Very disappointed.
