So I decided to get out the comfort zone and give this new salon located on Thornton ave a try with a ombré or simply just something different. ANA scheduled me a appt right away and the whole ambiance was so welcoming and wonderful! I met danielle also which is the owner and she herself is a sweet heart and very professional as well as Ana. I came in not really knowing what to do with my hair. Danielle and Ana helped me figure it out a bit and with both of their help and the outcome was amazing! Ana knew what I expected and took her lovely time to make sure I was satisfied. My money spent was well worth it and will def come back again! Hands down. Picture posted!

This was my first time at the Madhouse Salon and both Anna and Daniela far exceeded my expectations. Anna gave me the most beautiful, vibrant, natural looking ombré you have ever seen, while Daniela worked her magic and gave me the best cut & style I have ever had. I really appreciated that both ladies took the time to speak with me first and find out exactly what I was looking for before touching my hair. Daniela and Anna are both extremely passionate about what they do and it clearly shows in their work. They are both super friendly, inviting, genuine and talented. It can be intimidating to get your hair done at a high quality salon, but this was not the case at MadHouse. It’s the perfect balance between an upscale, high quality salon, with a super chill, awesome vibe and both ladies went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.
I am so happy to have found such an amazing place and will definitely be returning. Make an appointment at MadHouse, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Daniela Daniela Daniela… what can I say… she is one talented stylist! I have been going to Daniela for the past 6 – 7 years, every 4 – 5 weeks. I book my appointments 6 – 7 months out as she gets booked fairly quick. That alone should say it all… she knows her craft like nobody’s business!
I still remember the first few times that I gave her a go… I have a weird bump in the back of my head which makes the hair in the back sit oddly. Mind you… the back and the sides are basically cut really close to the scalp so if it’s not cut properly it looks like I had a 10 dollah haircut… get what you pay for. I remember the second or third time I saw her… she came up with a solution of how she would cut/​shave the the back so my hair would sit flat. That there is someone who is passionate of what they do… it’s no longer a job but a passion.
Always look forward to coming in to see Daniela… she’s always in good spirits and we def have great laughs. Very accommodating… works around your schedule and listens to your ideas then works her magic. She is one awesome gal.

It’s been a long search for a good hair stylist for myself in the Bay Area, so glad I finally met Daniela ! She was the very first stylist letting me carrying my natural curly in the style which I never try! Great work, Daniela !

I’ve been going to Daniela for about a year now and she never disappoints! I usually go for the brighter punky colors and Daniela does an excellent job of making the colors vibrant without damaging my hair. Her technique is unparalleled and I trust her completely!
The salon itself is like stepping into a fairytale. Cozy and perfect, every inch conveys Daniela’s personality and style. Her staff is also amazing and great with scheduling and special requests. I have always had a great experience with Daniela and recommend her to anyone I can!

I followed Daniela from Fremont to San Jose and back to Fremont. She now has her own salon and Im very happy for her! The reviews on here are spot on. She really listens to what you want and asks the right questions which puts any client at ease. I’ve always been greeted with a smile and I laugh so much with her that at times she has to hold my head still because she’s trying to be precise with the cut. She says everyone moves around but you gotta stay still. (stop making me laugh girl) Anyway, the salon is pretty dope… private parking, snacks, really cool décor (totally her style), blowdryers that hang from the ceiling — crazy. never seen that before. I met the other two ladies that work there and I have to say they are very nice, and professional. Daniela had nothing but good things to say about them. She said she wanted to only hire people whom she felt would be a good fit. I agree with her on that– don’t just hire any Joe shmo! The girls are in good hands with Daniela so pick her brain ladies!
Back to the salon…
The location is conveniently located off 880 and Dumbarton Bridge. It’s not in a Plaza but an actual house. It actually works for the style and décor of the salon. It’s the last brick house on Thornton and Cherry St. The house is actually divided into two separate businesses. Another salon is next door. I bought this really weird but cool paste for my hair called Badlands paste — works like a charm!

Just got my hair layered by Daniela! After Unilocaling a million of places, I finally decided on the MadHouse with Daniela. She has an online booking system which makes it super convenient to schedule appointments. I got a cut and a hydrating treatment which softened and moisturized my previously bleached & ombréd hair.
The MadHouse is located inside a residential looking house (like a duplex — there’s another salon, The Hair Den, next door). Plenty of parking in the lot behind the house. You can enter through the back entrance where I was immediately greeted by Daniela who welcomed me to sit down and offered me a drink as they were finishing with a client. Inside has so many cute & unique furnishings/​decorations! Although I arrived on time for my appointment, I had to wait 25 minutes to get started.
First we did the treatment and as she washed my hair, I received a relaxing head and neck massage. Next, she added some product to protect my hair and began to layer away. Daniela finished with a blow dry, leaving my hair looking, feeling & smelling fabulous :) The salon uses mostly R+Co products (new to me) so obviously I had to bring some home to try ;)
Though this is definitely more on the pricier side, I enjoyed my overall experience, the ambiance and love the results — worth it! Thanks Daniela!

There’s no one else like Daniela!
She’s exceptionally talented, compassionate, a badass artist and a cut above the rest in her profession. Not only is Daniela a beauty inside/​out, she’s pretty darn intelligent —with an incredible business vision. Daniela operates with high integrity and is overall just a lovely human being.
I would hands-​down recommend The Madhouse Salon to anyone & everyone absolutely without hesitation.

I was first introduced to Daniela by Janie V. (back at Savvy Salon) and I’m SO glad I made the jump because from that moment on, NO ONE else will ever get to touch my hair again!
Daniela is a fantastic listener who will always gives you her honest feedback. Because of her impeccable expertise, my mind is always at ease no matter what color or style I want to try next. I’ve had so many different sessions with Daniela from ombres, highlights, to treatments and the results are phenomenal each and every time.
In today’s session, Daniela turned my previously blond/​caramel ombré into an edgy, dark medium bob with purple peekaboos. Even after all the bleaching and coloring, my hair still looks amazingly healthy.
The day just feels like it breezes on by when we’re laughing and chatting about everything. She’s seriously EVERY gal’s hair bestie! I can’t even tell you guys how much I adore Daniela, she’s a beautiful person both inside and out.

First time at Daniela’s new spot! Followed her from her other place because she does AMAZING work! Daniela is also beautiful, down to earth, funny, and great to chat with. I love Daniela’s new place, it’s funky like her!!! Cozy and comfortable, easy parking in back and as always, Daniela makes you comfortable while she’s making you beautiful! Daniela is highly knowledgable about cut/​color and on top of the newest trends in hair! She’s worth following and has extremely reasonable prices for the quality work she provides!!!
Remember that you get what you pay for. I’ve paid $ 110.00 for comparable hair cuts at other places so her prices are reasonable BUT this isn’t Supercuts!

I seriously can’t sing the praises for Daniela enough!
I’m notoriously a nervous nelly when it comes to my hair; to the point where I intensely stare at anyone who is working on my hair and basically panic while in the chair. This all changed after I started seeing Daniela. For years Janie V. had been trying to get me to see Daniela, and I am so happy I finally listened to her.
Daniela performs magic on hair. During my first visit, she managed to turn my orange-​ish hair into a cool ashy ombré all in one appintment. While appointments for intense hair processing take a long time, time flies by when you’re with Daniela because she has THE BEST stories. She is a complete sweetheart and anyone who meets her would feel an instant connection. After my first appointment with her, I fully trusted her expertise and had no problem just going with whatever suggestions she had. Every time I’ve gotten my hair done by her, I’d get compliments even months afterwards.
Now Daniela has her own salon, The MadHouse Salon, and I am so happy for her! This place is seriously unique and dripping with character and fun. One step inside, and you’ll be in a whole new spunky, adorable world. You can easily find parking in the back, and enter through either the front or back entrances. During your appointment, Daniela not only takes care of your hair needs, but also provides the whole hospitable experience with drinks and snacks, how cool is that? And of course by the end of the appointment, you’ll come out with some seriously fierce hair. My appointment today resulted in a bluish silver ombré that has me staring in the mirror in vanity because I can’t get over how amazing of a job she did. Plus I’ve been getting endless compliments all day.
I absolutely adore Daniela, and now I can’t imagine letting anyone else touch my hair. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment and can’t wait to see what magic she’ll perform on me next!
