I work here and I know that even most employees are trying their best to multitask, Product placement and knowledge as well as Customer helpfulness. The customer is always right and we know that. We go as far as our company allows us to equip you not only with the physical tools for the job but the mental tools to know how to get it done.

Not crazy about this Home Depot location at all. I recently visited to shop for carpet for my whole house (approx 3500 square feet) and had several product questions.
The representative in the carpet area had her nose buried in a computer screen and completely ignored me. The second rep tried to be helpful bit told me the product guru would be back in 30 minutes… I ended up leaving.
I returned a week later and finally found the guru that could not answer my questions completely and contradicted himself several times attempting to make a sale.
I decided to go back to Lowes and schedule the measure. Although my last carpet experience with them was terrible, their staff is knowledgeable.

We moved here in 2011 and completely renovated our home. They helped us work through the bid room and get great deals. The customer service desk is very helpful and Mike the manager was always there to assist us. They know us by name :-)

It’s the home depot. Great for lumber, great prices and such… This store is pretty well maintained and has a fair amount of stuff, but for the full selection of things, you’ll need to go to the home depot in Newark off Elkton road in suburban plaza.
What galls me most about HD is that not any one store has everything you need, so if you’re framing and building a room, let’s say. Newark has studs and drywall and you can rent the drywall hanger. However if you want to buy tools and corner tape for the edges, you’ll drive around from HD to HD hoping to find the one brand you’re looking for. It really irritates me that the folks in HD aren’t more helpful before hand and offer to find it at another store before you drive around hoping to find what you needed.
