These are the best churros I’ve ever had! We stopped by just to see what the fuss was all about. There was a short line, and he was making each one fresh to order. I had the doce de leite and since my wife speaks Portuguese it made ordering a little easier (not a necessity, but it was convenient).
As Emily stated, he’s located right by Seabra’s grocery store. I’m not sure of his hours as I’ve been by from time to time and the place is closed up.
I’m dying to go back and have some more… they are pretty amazing! Here’s a pic I found of their churros on Flickr:

I first discovered this place last weekend when I went to Seabra’s Marisqueira for some tasty fresh seafood. It was across the street, with a pretty decent line of people waiting.
I was initially worried that I wouldn’t be able to get anything without a lot of pointing and looking like a total idiot since everyone who ordered in front of me did so in rapid-​fire Portuguese, but fortunately the language barrier turned out to be a non-​issue.
There is nothing like getting a churro made to order. Bonus points for the three fillings: caramel, chocolate, and strawberry cream. Not bad for $ 2 a pop! This food truck also serves funnel cake.
