My husband and I got married on 10÷24÷15 and we decided to go with Santos as our florist for our special day. To say Manny and his team exceeded our expectations is an understatement. People are still talking about how beautiful the flowers were, from the church to the bridesmaids bouquets, to my vintage centerpieces with hanging pearls, they really blew me away. I had not one worry the entire day about them, I did not hear from them, they just made sure absolutely everything was perfect and in place and delivered at the correct time. Manny was such a pleasure to work with too, he was there to guide me when I was unsure of a decision, he was flexible in letting me buy my own pearls for the centerpieces to save a little money, he was fantastic and truly became a part of my family! Wonderful service and staff. Ordered an arrangement for a funeral, the one I liked, the flowers weren’t in season but they assured me they would make a similar one. They did a wonderful job! Flowers were beautiful and very reasonably priced!

We got the flowers for our wedding from Santos and the flowers were absolutely magnificent! We saw a mock-up of the centerpieces about a month before the wedding and they were beautiful(and looked exactly the same on our wedding day) and the bouquets were gorgeous! Flowers arrived on-time. Our guests took home some of the centerpieces from the reception and were amazed at the amount of flowers in each centerpiece.

I went in for a last minute Bouquet of roses, and I got one of several that were beautiful and ready to go. The staff were cordial, warm, and very helpful.

I just spoke to the person on the phone. She was kind and pleasant. But, $ 100 for 2 dozen roses seems a bit too much to me. They also charge $ 10 for delivery in Newark. So, $ 100 for 2 dozen roses.

I used Santos for my wedding and was very happy with delivery, set-up and quality of the flowers. They were better than I could have imagined. I was so impressed. Everyone I thought I spent double the amount I did. I can’t recommend them more. Manny, the owner, is very knowledgeable. I wish I trusted him from day one and not micro-managed so much. I should have saved my time. He was patient with me and took the time to listen to me. Everything was beautiful. Will recommend to my friends and family getting married in the future.

I had a great experience sending belated anniversary flowers to my sister-in-law in New Jersey(I am in the Bay area in California) via Santos. I was a little nervous about sending flowers based on an online Google search. Originally, I was going to use a online flower delivery service, but decided to send them directly from a local florist in Newark after reading some negative reviews about online deliveries. I called Santos this morning after finding them on Unilocal and was helped by Paula who was professional and efficient. We also had an email exchange so I could provide her with the message to accompany the flowers rather than rely on providing that over the phone. Two hours after placing the order, I got a thank you email from my sister-in-law who works in downtown Newark(surprising, despite its bum rap, Newark does have a nice downtown area with offices!) telling me that the flowers were beautiful. When I placed the order with Paula at Santos, I mentioned that I would appreciate a quick delivery and they said they would try to get it there by 4PM. But it arrived much quicker. One suggestion for Santos website– I signed up for the newsletter assuming that I would get a discount code for my first order. That is pretty common practice with online sales and it would be nice. Also, the website did not save my information so when I edited information, it lost my information and looped me back to start. You might want to have someone«play» with the registration and buying process in order to identify glitches. However, the old-fashioned phone worked out fine.

The number attached with the business info is actually the florist’s fax number. The main number is(973) 344‑5311. This is a very capable florist. They specialize in silk and natural arrangements. They also offer potted plants, fruit baskets(made to order), and balloons for all occasions. Parking can be a hassle but it truly depends on what time you’re looking to pick up/purchase. The accept all major credit cards and usually have your arrangements done within 24-hours, depending on how large the order of course. This is the first florist I ever purchased flowers from and I’ll always remain a loyal customer. They’ve always treated me well throughout the years. I just wish it wasn’t so far…

If the in laws see this review I might get in trouble cuz he’s a «family friend» but I’m not too happy with Santos florist. I just got married and the owner of Santos is a friend of my in laws, so I had no choice but to use him. I worked with him directly, and he was a nice guy, but he didn’t really want to work with me and what I wanted and he gave me attitude. All I wanted was a ball of flowers in a low vase as centerpieces(looks better than I’m describing) and also use them on pillars along the aisle. How hard is that? He argued with me that it would look dumb so I had to get big arrangements. Ok, so I gave in a got some big ones and some small ones. But when it came to the day, they used all the little ones along the aisle instead of the big ones, that I just had to have. Idiot. And, since I was having big and little, they were supposed to arrange the centerpeices a certain way on the tables, which they didn’t. Idiot. Don’t argue with me and tell me I have to do something, then not even do it that way. Plus, he said he was gonna give us a deal, but he really didn’t. Thanks for nothing.
