Platinum Doobies Salon

I love this location. I did stop going for a while due to my transition to natural hair and I haven’t been wanting to use much heat in my hair. But I have been a Platinum regular for years. I am particular over who I will allow to touch my hair and therefore I only allow Anna or Eddy to do my hair. Many girls flock to Jackie as well. I feel like Anna truly cares about you hair. She isn’t just there to get you in and out. Anna gave me advice on products I should use at home to maintain my hair. And because of Anna’s hard-​work my hair began to grow and thicken when it seemed like it never would. I would definitely recommend this place because even the receptionist Dulce has great advice. I think people come in expecting things that their hair just is not capable of at the time and expect something grand. It’s an $ 8 doobie. Set realistic expectations and I’m sure they well be met or even exceeded. Go early as they do fill up fast. And be specific about what you want. Most of the ladies speak and understand English very well so it not a language barrier its usually miscommunication that leaves people upset.

I normally go to platinum to get my doobies. normally it’s $ 8 which actually gets me to go there all the time with $ 10 for a blow out. now I thought they would do an excellent job doing an ombré on my hair. I showed the lady a pic of the ombré I wanted but instead I have 3 different blondes on my hair and it looks like my hair just grew out.smh. Do not go there to get an ombré or get a haircut cause they are scissor happy! You will be bald. and platinum also damages your hair with the EXTREME heat they put on your hair… now I have to find a different salon :(thanks.

The salon is actually called «Platinum Doobie». This place is absolutely amazing. $ 8 for a doobie. $ 13 for a doobie with the roots blown out. The place is spacious, clean and all of the employees are super friendly and ready to help all of your hair needs.
