Papa John’s Pizza

I’m so disappointed with this place. The pizza here is actually really good but the service is horrible. Ordered my pizzas on Friday night when I got home I realized that my pepperoni/​spicy sausage pizza was actually only a pepperoni pizza. I also ordered a large speciality that was supposed to come with a 2 liter of soda. I never got my 2 liter. I checked my receipt and it listed the soda and also the pepperoni and sausage pizza so I was definitely charged for these. So disappointing. I probably won’t be returning.

I never had problems, and my family have been coming here for 4 years. Order online, and carry out on my way home. In, out and done.

If you’re hungry and don’t want to wait for 2 hours, forget Papa John’s Pizza. We placed an order 915pm and delivered at 11:30pm.

Hate to give them less than 5 stars as they usually are good at what they do. However, in my last order they forgot to put 2 topping out of 5 which I paid for.

I ordered 4 pizzas last weekend and all of them are medium. I went to pick and they told me that they «upgraded» one of the pizzas to large. After i came to home when i opened the so-​called large pizza i found out that they did not put toppings proportionally. As a result, the pizza was not eatable due to scarce toppings on the crust. On top of that, the beef was so smelly that i almost vomitted. I am not sure the meat was half cooked or it was stale. NEVER AGAIN!

1 star is generous. 1^st of all, the Einstein they sent to deliver the pizza calls me. I refer to the map @ the entrance of my condos. Over 10 minutes later she calls again, again I refer to the map. 10 minutes later she delivers a cold pizza & warm soda. The pizza was so cold it was soggy, and it was not sliced all the way thru the dough. Just another reason to hate Peyton Manning.
The pizza was ordered through Eat24.

They mixed up my order and I had to wait for almost 25 additional minutes on my carry out order which was really a downer for me.
Other than that it’s a regular expected PJ Pizza place.

I’m not sure what all the complaints are about.
Ordered online for takeout.
The estimated time was 15−25min — they were done in 20min.
And the pizza was exactly how we ordered it!
Perfect.
More importantly, the workers tonight (Sat. ²⁄₀₆) were incredibly nice despite being swamped & overwhelmed by a couple of rude customers.

I had the best pizza … Loved it
But not happy with the quantity of chicken or any other ingredients so if asked taste i will give 9.5

Today i ordered the same pizza with chicken onion green bell pepper roma tomatoes
Bread knots
Chocolate chip desert (which wasnt sliced)
In pizza ingredients were exactly in center i wonder what about the rest of the pizza i hv always seen ingredients spread over the whole pizza

After last review I received a reply from owner i just have one thing to say this was the second time I convinced my husband to get me a pizza from papa johns and after delivery i got and earful
I just have my finger crossed and hope my NEXT order will be fine

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN. Shame on me for giving this place one more visit, but I just had to use up the rest of that gift card. Do yourself a favor if you value your time, NEVER ORDER HERE FOR PICKUP. Also, NEVER ORDER IF YOU WANT YOU PIZZA IN LESS THAN AN HOUR FOR DELIVERY. At least the gift card is all used up now. Thank goodness!
Figured I’d give it 30 minutes before I came in to pick up my pizza. Arrived and was told it will be another 10 minutes or so. Fine. 15 minutes later they apologize and need to confirm what I ordered to begin with. Feeling sick… must be the déjà vu.
Another 15 minutes later I finally have my pizzas. From what I overheard one was probably sitting there for 15 minutes while they made a brand new second pizza to complete my order. My experiences have been so bad that I am absolutely calling/​emailing/​whatever PJ’s corporate. Somebody needs to overhaul the order management of this place, pronto. Oh… and if anybody offers me free pizzas or gift cards for this location, I’LL TURN THEM DOWN. I wouldn’t even give them away to anybody I care about that would likely have to use them at this location.

I messed up my order and the staff worked hard to get it corrected in a timely fashion since it was a very larger order. Pretty damn good pizza too

On Christmas Eve I was running around and wanted to feed the kids a quick snack so I stopped at papa johns pizza on cedar in the new strip center. First I thought it was u bake pizza, but (duh) that’s papa murphys. So I stayed and got the free large with the purchase of a large. Pepperoni and one sausage. $ 16.69 for 2 14″ pizzas– not bad. But when I got home and tried it I was amazed a just how really bad it was. Now, I’ve had bad pizza (any one remember Winterland pizza?) but the picture on the box would be better. Even the kids choked it down which is rare for any pizza. They say little Caesars is the best cheap pizza. And I tend to agree with the kids.

My family and I had always turned to Mountain Mike’s but lately, their prices have been going up and quality has been not so good! Decided to try Papa Johns out and I have to say … the whole family loved their dinner! My son who typically does not like the crust ate up his crust and asked for seconds!
My wife and I had the Chicken Club with the Garlic Ranch sauce. It was on point!
Will defiantly buy dinner here again!

Waited 2 hrs for my pizza delivery. .only to recieve the wrong order. Definitely will not be ordering from this place again.

How long does it take to get a couple of pizzas delivered from these guys? 1 hour? 1.5 hours? Try 2 hours. 2 hours for some cold pizza. This place deserves 5 stars… for incompetence and lame excuses.

I’ve been burned by this Papa John’s Pizza before, but I tried again nearly three years later and I was very happy with the pizza. I called ahead, picked it up and went home quickly. The taste was very fresh, which means it didn’t last too long — BEST WHEN FRESH! The meat was less fatty, the cheese was real, the sauce was real. Pizza Hut might taste better but that taste is from OIL and FLOUR in the meat… I found this taste very straightforward and refreshing.
Service was okay, but one of the guys was really bad with his eye contact.

So, I was really excited to try a papa johns. Mainly due to the fact we always see the commercials but until recently there wasn’t one around here. So, using Unilocal,I ordered a medium pizza online and some wings. Confirmation email stated it would be an extra ten minutes which I was totally cool with being a Sunday during football season
I got to the store about five minutes after my scheduled pickup time to give a little extra time. The guy making pizzas stated not only did he not start making my pizza, but he could not find it in the system anymore. Upset, yet understanding that computer mistakes happen I asked to have it delivered instead.
I gave the guy my address and he stated that they wouldn’t deliver to that part of the city (approximately 2.5 miles away) cuz he didn’t have it on his computer. And that he would have to charge me again and EXTRA. For the delivery.
I showed him that the money had already been taken out and he was like «I guess you can cancel it with your bank.»
No bro. Your business and you fucked up. Don’t you think a little customer service would be due right about now?! I ended up eating an extra 25 minutes for what I thought would be a quick pickup. Pizza was only okay.
I will not be returning.

Why oh why did we not listen to the reviews? The call of the cheap pizza was too strong…
We ordered delivery on a Tuesday night at 8pm. We figured they must not be too busy then right? It took an hour and a half to be delivered when the estimate was 30 – 40 min. When it hit the hour mark we called the place up and the guy acted really surprised since the driver had left 20 minutes ago. Ok.
Honestly I would have been fine with it if the pizza made up for the slow delivery. Unfortunately, it didn’t. We got an extra large combo pizza and it was just bland and the pizza wasn’t cold but it certainly wasn’t hot. The cheese started to get chunky and congealed by the time I was on my second slice. The crust was like cardboard. Next time we are just going to go with good old Dominos.

Wow. Papa John’s has really dropped the ball over the years. First off, our order was late by an hour. When the driver finally called he was completely unintelligible and talking fast like he was on drugs or something. Makes me wonder who they hire as their drivers.
Worst of all the food quality sucked. The ingredients weren’t fresh. It tasted like a chunky piece of dough with a few pepperonis thrown on it.
Plus the pizza was cold by the time it got here. We had to throw the whole pizza out!
How did this happen??? The best pizza chain ever has now become the worst!!!
My hunch is PJ’s has been starting to cut corners. With their ingredients, their employees, and their pizzas.
Note to self: Don’t ever order from this place again. Next time I’ll go with dominos.

Several staff members at this location are terrible.
1. First time: pizza delivered 1.5 hrs after order, seriously!! Pizza was also sideways. Called the store multiple times, only to be insulted by a very confrontational assistant «manager».
–Made a complaint online and it took the owner weeks to respond. The owner acknowledged this isn’t the first time he’s been contacted regarding his manager’s crude behavior.. . well, WHY IS HE STILL WORKING THERE???
2. 2^nd delivery: pizza arrived cold and the toppings were dried out. The cheese even hardened!
3. 3^rd delivery: pizza made wrong and arrived late. Assistant manager again with no tact and courtesy!
To the owner: sir, please go through and just get rid of your daft team members. I’m sure you know who they are.
