I was a loyal customer for years. I returned a uniform dress to have the lining altered, because it was hanging lower than my hem and visibly bunching up. Apparently, they never touched the lining after taking in and hemming my dress. The owner insisted in charging me to make the correction because «you washed the dress,» though the care instructions say to machine wash cold/​tumble dry low OR professionally dry clean. I told her that the instructions said I could machine wash, and that would be the last time I used them, if she was going to charge me… and it was. I will never go back. BEWARE.
