Too expensive for the portions they give. A wrap that’s priced at 8 bucks and I’m given 5 bucks worth of food. Delivery is slow, placed and order 1.5 hours ago. Plus they charge 1.50 for delivery. Never eating here again

Delivery real slow. Meal came cold and had a strange taste to it. I’ve eaten at other MMG locations and they were a lot better than this one.

Do You Think That The Guy Working Behind The Grill Has Muscles? Boy am I ever thankful for healthy options in Newark! I’m happy that there’s a Muscle Maker Grill in Downtown Newark! Mainly due to the fact that finding healthy eats in Newark M-F is hard to come by, and on the weekends it’s almost impossible! Unless you wanna get your«Jared On» and settle for a sad looking sub from Subway. The Good: –Open seven days a week(not typical for the area) –Healthy Options = YAY! –Delivery, Take-Out and Catering available –Offers Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Zero Carb Salad Dressings, Meals under 400 calories, Protein enhanced sweets and sugar free options The Bad: –Delivery: Everytime I’ve ordered from this location, it typically takes anywhere from 40 – 50 minutes to arrive. I don’t order during peak or rush hours and I’m less than a mile away. I typically order one item off of the menu(usually a salad) and when I get my item its either soggy(salads) or barely luke warm(hot foods)… Long story short, they’ve really gotta’ work on improving their delivery services. –Small Portions! The portions are very small, comparable to children’s menu portions. –Price: I don’t mind paying a little extra for healthy options(especially in Newark). However when you give me a small portion and almost zero flavor, I’ll spend my money elsewhere. $ 9.30 for a Cesar salad with one tiny/thin chicken breast and less than 2 cups of iceberg lettuce — YOU’VEGOTTOBEKIDDINGME!!! –Catering: I’ve never received catering services from Muscle Maker Grill, but apparently they don’t want me to. In October, I was looking for a Newark restaurant(trying to support local businesses) that offered healthy options for a 500 + person event. I called this location several times, left messages and I never heard back from them. All I wanted to know is if they could handle an event this large and get some general information about the menu’s, pricing etc. Get Organized! I love the fact that Muscle Maker Grill provides healthy options and the overall concept of the franchise, however this particular location desperately needs to get they’re act together and get organized!

Great, healthy, and flavorful food. These places are popping up everywhere. The other MMG in Newark I believe serves bigger portions, but this one is pretty good. Sometimes the wait can be a little longer than one would expect. Food is great though and many things to choose from wraps, salads, rice platters, to pasta platters. Try the teriyaki pasta, chicken caesar wrap, el mexicana w/rice, or the arizona with rice. The cajun chicken w/rice had some kick to it. The steak was surprisingly cooked well. The buffalo wings are HOT… I’m not a huge fan of spicy food, but I do enjoy them. These are not for the weak. I had a sample of the smoothies and seemed a little on the watered down side, but still pretty good. Overall this place is good and I come here often when looking for a healthier lunch/dinner. There is a lot of space to eat inside and some tvs there along with a bar counter to eat too. Food is served on nice plates which adds to the nice environment.

I love muscle maker grill so much… When I found out they’ve opened franchises close to where I live/work I jetted down to get some of my favorite eats. The menu is very diverse and HEALTHCONSCIOUS which is important to me. The Newark location on broad street is cool, very close to rt280 the staff is courteous and very welcoming they’ve only been open two weeks. I notice constant traffic(which is a GREATTHING) this particular location wasn’t listed on Unilocal yet so I took the liberty of adding their business myself :) i got back to work and shared my food with my co-workers(I ordered the God Father), and they all loved it as well as I!
