This is a terrible restaurant, I am currently sitting here furious, first of all I was greeted with a waiter with a bit of a temper issue. Then she brought bread, and it was obviously pre-packaged store bought bread that was slightly heated up, by the time it was here it was already hard and unedible. Then the tables, I am not the one to judge the tables of a restaurant, but they didn’t even try with these, a cheap plastic table with a cheap tablecloth on top. Then a salad, a damn salad that is free I any other restaurant with an entrée, nope, extra $ 5 here, and to add insult to injury, the whole salad was a couple of carrot shavings, two cucumber slices, and 3 half mini tomatoes on top of pre-packaged store bought lettuce, that tasted like it was in the refrigerator for a long time before being served, so bad in fact I almost threw up trying to eat it. Finally there was the entrée, I got crab ravioli and my girlfriend got ravioli Primavera, and let me tell you, it has to be some special kind of restaurant to undercook her pasta, and overcook my pasta when the whole restaurant was empty, no one else but us was there and they still mess something as simple as pasta up. Then the server asked if we wanted dessert but with the experience I had so far I rather not risk it and go to an actually good place where they sell actual good food, not the store bought excuse that they dare to serve you at that restaurant. Never again will I ever or let anyone I know go to this sorry excuse of a restaurant.

My friend Sharon and I came here to use our gift cards from the Birthday Pak. Unfortunately, we couldn’t both use them. So they are bogus gift cards then, and more like coupons. Our waitress was painfully slow. Took forever to take our order, bring our drinks, and never asked if we wanted refills. So we sat with empty glasses the entire meal. We started with the driest risotto balls ever. Like eating sawdust. I had lobster ravioli with very minimal lobster. The large portions are not large at all, so we were glad we didn’t get the small. I definitely don’t need to ever return, way overpriced for nothing special.

Dupped into $ 8 aroncini, viewed in the menu as $ 5 apps-$ 18 for 2 peronis and a manager unwilling to make amends due to the proximity of my seeting… waitress was nice though… forgot to mention a screwed up pizza order(not the waitresses fault) and warm $ 18 beers…

If your used to quick cooked chain restaurant meals then don’t bother coming here. This is a dinning experience for those of us that want to enjoy freshly cooked food by those who know how to cook properly. I enjoyed a great night with my husband, along with a decent bottle of wine to compliment our dinner. I hate being pestered by servers that hover around expecting you to be in and out quickly so they can get maximum tips from multiple diners. You won’t get that here. You get a relaxed dinning experience and very well cooked food. And it’s Quite unexpected for this area. We will return

My husband and I were very pleased to find a decent Italian restaurant in Delaware. We are from Pittsburgh and I grew up with Italians so I was so halt to actually get a decent meal that reminded me of home. We went on a Tuesday night late around 7:30 and it wasn’t busy at all. Our waiter Kevin was new but he was great, very attentive. We will definitely go again!

The place looks and smells great. Service was very friendly, but excruciatingly slow. By the time our meals arrived the chicken parm was cold and two different fish meals were overcooked. Prices are too high for this kind of quality.

So delicious! I’ve never had a bad experience here and love to make it a great date night. It isn’t the fastest, so I wouldn’t run here for a quick bite before a movie, but if you are looking for delicious food and great atmosphere, look no further!

I’ve only been once, but my pasta was fresh and well cooked. The sauce was flavorful and the meatballs were tasty, though a little mushy for my preference. Friendly wait staff, with a more relaxed pace. I will definitely return, and try something new — seems like a place where you can find any quality dishes.

Went here with the fam for the first time in a while. Our waiter was fantastic. We were very happy with how attentive he was. The bread basket is very good. We think the bread that came with the meal was actually better than the crab dip appetizer we ordered. The dip itself was good, but the hardened bread to dip with were way too hard, they were challenging to bite into. The pasta was very good, but it was nothing amazing. I ordered the crème brûlée for dessert and it was so so good. If we ever end up here again I’ll know to get a smaller entrée and just enjoy the bread and dessert.

My wife and I don’t get to go out to much… so it is important to have a nice dinner when we get a chance. We decided to return to LA Casa Pasta and had a nice time. The food was great tasting. Melanie was our waitress and we were happy with her too. Lasagna tasted great… but is was still cold in the center. Ricotta pie was tasty… mmmmm! We would like to have cocktail sauce rather than the lemon mayo stuff with the fried appetizer. Drinks we had were a little pricey… wifes were watery. Still coming back. Can’t wait to return.

the food was not good and I became extremely ill from it. I have a gluten allergy and informed them, not sure if I became ill because of cross-contamination or poor food quality. Either way I would not recommend.

Overpriced and just ok… Quiet(a plus for me) but they don’t even use real tomatoes… C’mon! Good Italian must have REAL tomatoes.

This was out first time back in many years… we were very happy with the quality of the food. I enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the tilapia was perfectly prepared. We were a very large party and the service was great. Only negative was the mixed drinks… they came with only being 2⁄3 full at best… and they are pricey. For that alone, we probably won’t return.

Very pleased with my experience here. The ambiance is very pleasant as there is someone singing Italian music while you dine. It isn’t a performance rather someone with a mic singing and walking around. He sings very well and I liked how authentic it felt. As far as the food I enjoyed that as well. I got the chicken parm and it was very tasty. For dessert I ordered the crème brûlée. It was yummy but it was cold. I usually like it warm. Overall romantic and nice ambiance and yummy food. I will definitely be returning.

We hadn’t been to La Casa Pasta since before the fire in 2010. We bought a Groupon to get reacquainted with them. Easily the best Groupon I’ve ever bought. The food was outstanding and the portions were generous.(All 4 of us took food home) The waiter was attentive without being invasive. Overall it was an excellent meal. They just became my preferred Italian place.

I came here with my family back in Dec. for my birthday on a Mon. evening between Christmas and New Year’s for my birthday dinner. Although we’ve passed this place on Rt. 896 for years, we’d never stopped in before. Since my family members are picky eaters, I’m pretty much limited to American and Italian food with them. As a foodie, I refuse to settle for one of the mediocre chain options that proliferate in the area, so after researching restaurants in the area, I chose La Casa Pasta. I debated about going for the lunch buffet, but opted for dinner instead, since I wanted to try some of the seafood dishes that aren’t available on the buffet. We went on a Mon. evening because they run a half price appetizer special for each entrée purchased. For appetizers, we ordered the stuffed mushrooms and crab and artichoke dip, and we enjoyed them both, so they disappeared quickly! For entrees, my mom and I ordered the lunch portion of the lobster ravioli. The pasta was tender, the lobster filling was delicious, and the sauce was creamy and complemented them well. However, we felt that the lunch portion was a bit small, since it consisted of only 3 raviolis(we thought it would have 4), so we were glad that we ordered the appetizers. For dessert, my brother and I ordered the molten chocolate cake, and it was excellent. Given the time of week and year, there weren’t many other diners there. Service was very good, and we very much enjoyed the atmosphere. With the appetizer deal, our check came to $ 100 for 4 people, which was pretty reasonable for apps, entrees, and dessert. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience, and would return in the future, perhaps to try the lunch buffet.
